𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, to be specific it's October 31st. Athena is praying to merlin that this will be an uneventful day but she knows that is unlikely. The past few days has felt like the universe has gone against her.. well her whole life. Athena promised that'd she would rid her mind with anything about her father and godfather.
As she looks around the corridors with students from beaubaxtons and dumstrung sauntering their way to their classes. Athena had been so caught up with Sirius being there that she failed to recall the students ever arriving. As she parades around a mask that hides her sullen face from the events of last night. Masking it to those who gape in wonder or jealousy as she strides through the corridors.
After making her way to the great hall, she noticed the goblet of fire is placed in the center of the hall an a age line is drawn around it. The goblet felt unsettling to her, the mystic blue fire blazing felt as if it was mocking the girl in a sense.
Athena couldn't look away until she felt a tug on her hand. It was the boy she was starting to grow fond of, for the first two months at Hogwarts Leo would find the girl at the tower which lead them to their late night talks about the stars. Leo gave her an unsettled expression looking back and forth towards the goblet. "You're not thinking about putting your name in, are you?" the boy worried but his worries vanished when she told him "Even if I was of age I wouldn't dream of it, don't fret little puff it won't happen I promise." Athena ruffling his hair while catching site of Aurora and the golden trio entering the hallway. She quickly said goodbye to the boy not wanting them to see her with Leo.
The girl soon spotted Neville sitting on the benches moving towards her friend. As she approached him, he peered up from his book noticing his friend with a big grin. Shutting his book in the process, patting the seat next to him. Athena gladly took the spot next to him, taking the book he had in his lap. The girl gave him a questionable look, "Why are you reading about 'Mediterranean Water-Plants and Their Properties' where would you even find these plants?" Neville responded by telling her, "Oh-h, I know peculiar things they are but it was actually given to me by Professor Moody.."
Athena's expression morphed into disgust, she didn't like him one bit after scarring Neville or turning her cousin into a ferret. Mad-eye moody had mutual feelings towards the girl as well resulting in arguments with each other which ended up taking the whole class time. Of course she had her suspicions about him. Even though there was no evidence on him. Athena wondered why would he give neville a book, he didn't seem like a giving type.
