"Beam...."

"Yes, Lam?"

"Can you come to my house now?"

Beam's breath hitched. "Lam..., is Forth okay?" asked Beam nervously.

He and Forth had not seen each other for almost two weeks, after the incident with Mimi at their apartment.

Beam cried every night after he got to his old  room, in his dorm before moving into the apartment with Forth.

Beam tells Kit and Ming everything, after he leaves the apartment. His old room was occupied by Ming after he moved into the apartment, and Kit forces Beam to stay there after hearing Beam's story. Ming moved to Kit's room.

Phana was angry and wants to hit Forth but Beam begs him not to do anything to him, because Beam actually feels guilty too.

He already feels uncomfortable with Mimi's aggressive attitude towards him, but can't bear to be rude because Mimi often talks and asks Beam about his relationship with his girlfriend.

Five days after he left the apartment, Lam and Park came to his room and asked about what happened between him and Forth.

"He lives at my house now. Park and I just finished our internship two days ago and when we got home, Forth was in the guest room, so drunk he was buried in his own vomit," Lam said heavily.

"What happened, Beam?" Asked Park coldly. "Just tell us, so we can helped."

Beam told everything to Lam and Park. Lam gritted his teeth in anger. "That crazy bitch!"

"Then, where is that bitch now?"

"After I told everything to Phana, he asked the human resource departement head to moved her to another clinic. The human resource departement head is Phana's father best friend."

"That's good. I will beat her if I see her," hissed Lam.

"She tried to contacted me once or twice, but I never gave her chance to ruined my life again. He make me and Forth separated."

Park touched Lam's arm with a frown. "Lam, do you remember the girl Tul was with before he was with Max? Isn't her name Mimi?"

"No. Its Mini, I think."

Beam's eyebrows rose in confusion. "Uh? What's that got to do with Max?"

Lam looked at Park, then turned to Beam. "Beam, can you wait a minute until we find out what really happened? Forth loves you so much and he was so happy to finish his internship sooner. He even left us. I think he was so shocked to see you and Mimi back then and lost control.

Beam cried and nodded. "I'm not mad at him. I'm mad at myself for being so easily caught up in Mimi's manipulation. I thought she really just needed a place to talk about her cheating boyfriend. ."

"There are always people who don't like seeing our happiness, Beam. You and Forth may be being tested by the situation. We'll try to talk to Forth," Park said. "Leave him alone for a while, maybe being apart for a while will make you both think straight."

After that Beam didn't hear anything from Park and Lam, until now, when Beam saw an incoming call from Lam, moments after he finished accompanying a professor to perform surgery.

"

Come over to my house this afternoon after you're done at the hospital. Don't think about anything." After that Lam hung up the phone. Beam put his head on the table. He felt so tired.

He kept himself busy with hospital duties late into the night, deliberately taking long shifts and then returning to his room exhausted, crying for Forth until he fell asleep.

He tried to call Forth but the phone was always off. Beam wanted to ask the Forth family for help, but he was afraid that what he wanted to do would only make things worse.

Beam didn't know if the Forth family was still spying on them, but so far the two of them didn't care about that either.

However, if this problem makes Forth and Beam's plans to survive fall apart, then Beam chooses to remain silent and hold everything on his own until Forth himself decides or at least comes to him.

"Beams?" Kit walked into Beam's room and tapped him lightly on the shoulder. "What happened to you?"

Beam looked up and his eyes blankly met Kit's gaze. "I miss him, Kit. So bad. I want to know how's he going. I am worried, he maybe sick or ...."

Kit sat on the chair in front of Beam's desk. "I know, Beam. He must be missing you too, but you said yourself Park and Lam didn't want you to see each other because they suspected something and were trying to sort things out. Haven't they told you yet? Don't think to much. Maybe Forth busy with his internship report. Maybe he need longer time to reduce his anger. Just be patient and wait till he came to you."

"Lam called and asked me to come over to his house after the shift. Would you like to come with me?" asked Beam.

"I'd like to, but I can't, Beam," Kit replied in a regretful voice. "I was supposed to finish my shift this afternoon, but suddenly Phana called this morning and asked me to replace him this afternoon."

"Phana didn't come in?" asked Beam in surprise. Phana has never skipped class, especially during this internship. He never even got sick and made excuses for not going to class.

"There's an urgent need he can't get away with," Kit replied. "I can't argue because his voice sounds very serious."

"Could something have happened to his family? Have you asked Wayo?"

"Wayo has been going home since three days ago. The juniors have started their holiday. Ming also started his holiday yesterday and he is upset that we are not cooking together tonight."

Beam finished his shift at exactly 6pm and went straight to Lam's house. He was stunned in his car, after entering Lam's yard.

Beam got out of the car and walked with his head full of questions. Isn't that a car belonging to ....

"Beam, come in quickly!" Beam was stunned, seeing a figure standing in the doorway of Lam's house.
