SHOT 6

The awkwardness was very much evident. It was more difficult for Haya to see Ayaan Qureshi someone other than her "arrogant, Hitler boss" . Ayaan's reputation was not very good amongst his employees and the sole reason was his business etiquettes he has been learning from non-other than his own father. Ayaan knew from the very start where his life would lead him and he didn't mind as long as he would be the best.

Qureshi's believed that the family business would slowly get ruined if the heir chose anything other than the family business.

Ayaan knew that from the start so instead of protesting, he chose to first learn the intricacies of the family business and within his starting days he knew that he could do even better than what his dad was doing and from that day Ayaan Qureshi was learning everything and he even applied his studies in some deals from the age of twenty after three years he unofficially joined Qureshi Industries with his father.

Even after learning everything about business from his father and the social life from his mother, Ayaan couldn't become utterly romantic like his parents, whilst Shaista Qureshi tried a lot to set her son with so many girls from her social circle but there was none who would have appealed to her son but then after hearing his ranting about his secretary continuously for six months after her joining, she knew that she was the girl who would finally make her a grandmother, after all she too wanted grand babies soon.

Seeing Ayaan enter with Haya she could clearly observe a change in both Ayaan and Haya, while Ayaan had a calm expression and Haya was looking like she had fought with a huge storm right at that moment, she was stealing glances at Ayaan every two seconds.

"Looks like our son has finally got the courage to ask the lady he desire".  Came a voice interrupting Shaista's observation and she looked at her husband and she could see a small smirk playing on his lips and she exactly knew what he was thinking.

"So you knew that our grandchildren will have hazel eyes", Zaakir remembering how his wife commented about the eyes of their prospective grandchildren as clearly the eyes comes from their mother's side as Ayaan carries same chocolate brown eyes like him.

His wife was really a matchmaker and he now felt that he needed to confront her about some more planning's and plotting's she was having under her sleeve.

"Well, dear husband, it's called observation", Shaista answered him, almost gloating as she saw that her son was finally asking for a single dance from the gracious lady of his

The hall was nearly empty now, since the other activities of the day had started and people had left the ball room. There were some couples only on the dance floor.

Ayaan saw this as a perfect opportunity to remove the unsaid awkwardness between them, here he was trying to be normal. The atmosphere was different, the aura was different and heck even Haya was looking very much sensual in her dress, Ayaan couldn't wait to at least have a single dance with her. She was there with him all the time and he took the only chance of being Ayaan for her, not the Ayaan Qureshi she knew from their time spent in office.

"Would you mind joining me on the dance floor Haya?"Ayaan asked as he could sense that there  multiple eyes on his moves specially his mother, he knew that his mum won't like if he didn't take this opportunity to have a single dance with the girl he had only admired from far till now.

Haya was in a confused state of mind, one side she wanted to tell him a straight NO and the other side could see the man who she couldn't recognize today and she was finding it as an opportunity where she could a memory she could cherish for the lifetime.

It could have been the only chance to have a dance with the handsome man she knew but only if she knew how to dance. That was the perfect moment for Haya to curse herself  for not having enough brains to learn anything that could have helped her today. She was such a plane Jane sometimes.

Seeing her lost in her own lost state Ayaan held her hand and lead her to the dance floor. There were not many people present as the other activities of the night had started and Haya's felt her hands going cold and Ayaan could feel clearly feel her getting nervous.

Feeling her steps going towards the dance floor, Haya could feel herself drowning in the humiliation. There was a perfect waltz going on the dance floor and Haya could feel her steps getting heavy as the dance floor was coming close.

"I... I don't know", she muttered, there was a fear of tripping in front of the so many people. Those high heels she wanted to curse right now.

"One dance will not harm Haya'," Ayaan replied to her words and next he felt her muttering Hitler right in his ear as the cursing fell into his ears.

"Oh how wrong I was, once a devil is always a devil..." Muttered Haya under her breath, which was too loud for Ayaan to hear.
