All the killing games were simulations. Kinda like SDR2. After the killing games everyone is meant to stay in a special hospital that cures their body and mind.
Those who die have visual injuries and those didn't most likely have brain trauma and need therapy.
UDG was a killing game aswell but since it wasn't like the typical game Komaru and everyone else went to a different hospital.
Soulmate AU:
Once you turn 16 you gain the ability write on your skin and have it appear on your soulmates.
My update plan is gonna be everywhere so....
