(CopperSong's POV)
If you are simply reading this story I advise you still read the comments where this story came from, as there will be information and secrets hidden within them.

CopperSong flew above the forest, gazing down as she flew. Hawk had wanted help on his hunt and so she willingly helped her autophobic friend, even though she wasn't that good at it. She glanced to her side where Hawk seemed to be lost in thought, drifting slowly closer to CopperSong and the ground.
CopperSong spotted what could possibly be an elk or a deer, and Hawk snapped back into reality, seeing it too.
"On the count of three, we dive?" CopperSong suggested.
Hawk nodded, still somewhat absent.
He's always been absent lately, CopperSong thought. But I won't question him. He has bad autophobia, after all!
The two tucked their wings in and plummeted towards the creature, slamming into what turned out to be a full-grown buck.
It crashed down under the two Drolgons' weight, and before it could gather itself and get back up, CopperSong slashed at the buck's leg; mauling it.
Hawk did the same with one of its other legs, and then the Drolgons took it down before it could do anything else.
CopperSong and Hawk had a successful catch.

CopperSong heard the Alpha and Delta speaking to each other as she landed in the camp entrance, carrying the buck with Hawk.
She had only heard that they were to be in a battle tonight, and that made her weary.
Out of pure fatigue, she didn't even realize she heard distorted sounds coming from the Drolgons around her. She caught "flame" and "rain" coming from FogSight (Pacree Breeze Delta) and WinterTeller (Pacree Breeze Alpha), which told her that it might be Pacree Flame and Pacree Rain they were going to start a battle with.
But the most strange of the distorted words came from Hawk. She'd rather not think about what they meant, though, as the words she heard were "crush", "alone", and "help".
CopperSong had never heard such voices before.
     What are they?
But she didn't ponder about it for long. Instead, she spoke up, heading toward WinterTeller.
"What are we attacking?" CopperSong asked, letting Hawk drag the buck farther into camp.
CopperSong knew what they were attacking... if what she'd heard were thoughts. She wanted the answer from the Alpha, though.
"CopperSong!" WinterTeller greeted her as FogSight padded away to gather the Pacree. "I hope the hunting was good. And to answer your question, we're arranging an attack on Pacree Rain tonight. We're going to attack from their border with Pacree Moon, so we'll have the advantage of surprise. FogSight is gathering Drolgons to be in the attack. I was hoping you'd be able to join, since most of our Pacree-mates are tired from the last battle... but if you fight, make sure to be careful because we don't have another healer-Drolgon. We need you." He looked at her expectantly.
"Of course! I'd have to gather my healing supplies too, though," CopperSong replied. "I'll try fighting, but it would also be better if Hawk came along for back-up in case in the end I can't fight and heal at the same time, as he is a better fighter... but it's also better if I stay with him."
CopperSong was positive WinterTeller knew about Hawk's autophobia, and positive that he knew that CopperSong was the only Drolgon Hawk felt completely safe with.
And Hawk might feel something else... like I do towards him, CopperSong added in her head, remembering a few moments ago when she'd heard the word "crush" coming from Hawk's direction.
"Thank you, CopperSong. Your Pacree honours your courage." WinterTeller dipped his head respectfully to her. "You'd better grab something to eat and then gather your supplies. The sun's going down, and it'll take a while to fly all the way around the Land of Rain, so we're leaving at twilight."
CopperSong dipped her head back to the Alpha. "Just please, tell Hawk about the battle yourself. It's better if he hears it from you instead of FogSight, as he's wary of most, but he has to obey you of course. He probably won't take it lightly from FogSight."
She turned, padding off to gather her supplies, positive she still heard distorted words coming from different Drolgons in the camp; especially from Hawk.
     "Where", "CopperSong", "don't", "alone".
His thoughts were clearly frantic but distorted, and it made CopperSong's head hurt to hear thoughts.
And no one could help her block it out. But maybe WinterTeller could... but that was unlikely. More thoughts filled her head, though, as she finished gathering her supplies.
     "Betray", "Alpha", "backstab", "battle".
     These words scared CopperSong.
She had to tell WinterTeller now. Someone was planning to stab the Alpha in the back...
     And only CopperSong knew.
