Marinette's POV
Today is Friday. I woke up around 9:00 instead of my usual time since I have no school. I checked my phone and saw that Chloe texted me a few minutes ago.
Mari wake up i want to go to Andrés and get ice cream!
MARI GET UP
IM GETTING IMPATIENT!
Hey Chlo Im up now so stop yelling we can meet up at 10:00 just lemme get dressed
Ok ur finally awake
I was only asleep for a few minutes after u texted me
Yea yea whatever just get ready
I climb out of bed and to take a shower and do my morning routine before putting on navy blue ripped jean shorts, and a black sleeveless crop top, and a 3/4 length jean jacket.
I eat breakfast and text Chloe to come over whenever she's ready.
Hey Chlo come over when ur ready im done
Ok im walking through the bakery door rn
How- nvm i dont wanna know
I walked down stairs and sure enough, there's Chloe sitting on the counter waiting.
"Heyyy Mari."
"Heyyy Queen."
"Lets go before he moves I already tracked him down!"
She takes my hand basically dragging me out if the bakery and down the street before I can finally get my hand free.
"Chlo slow down! Geez I don't even go this fast on my morning runs!"
"Your just slow. Hurry up!"
She takes off running to lovelock bridge and I follow close behind. We get there and see André singing.
"Ah! Marinette and Chloe Bourgeois! How nice to see you again!"
"Hey André! I go by Mari now though. Just two soulmate ice creams please!"
"Ah! For you Mari, blackberry for his hair, mint for his piercing green eyes, and peach for his lips! It seems your soulmate has changed! And for you, Chloe! Blackberry for his hair, blue raspberry for his ocean eyes, and peach for his lips! It seems yours has changed too!"
Chloe perks up. "Thanks André have a nice day!" Chloe yells as we walk away.
"I can't believe our soulmates changed Chlo! Who do you think they are I don't know anyone with these descriptions."
"I don't know Mari. But I hope they're cute!"
"Omg geez Chloe. I think the universe is giving me green eyed people on purpose."
We walked back to our homes and I finished packing since we leave tomorrow! I started making outfits based off the heroes in Gotham. When I finished making them it was already 11:56 so I picked out my outfit for the next day and set my alarm for 5:00 am since we leave at 8:00 but if I'm right Lie-La's gonna make everyone leave early with some out of pocket lie.
I made sure Tikki was fed and comfortable before I climbed in to bed and fell asleep. Tomorrow was gonna be a looong day.
