ONLINE CLASS SERIES #1: LOVE ON ZOOM

CHAPTER TWO

I woke up early. 8 am is my class. I just ate pancakes that my Mom cooked earlier. I took a bath and opened my laptop. I go to the Zoom and typed the meeting id and the password.

Sabi ng adviser ko kanina we'll meet our subject teachers today. Medyo kinakabahan ako. Yes, walang Math. But there is a Practical Research.

And great! Its the first subject for today. I am nervous.

I am in the middle of thinking if I will survive this subject. When a message popped up on Zoom.

B8 - Willson, Miguel:
don't be nervous :)

G7 - Rodriguez, Denise:
what?

B8 - Willson, Miguel:
i can see you on the camera. you're nervous. just chill. hindi ka naman kakainin niyan.

I looked at Miguel's face on the screen. He's right! He's looking at me and smiling.

What the hell? Why do I find him handsome? I shook my head to erase what I was thinking. Yes, he's handsome. But definitely not my type.

I was not able to reply to Miguel, because the teacher is now discussing about the subject. And while he is discussing it, I already felt nervous. Hays. Nakakatakot pa naman ang muka ng teacher na 'to. He looks grumpy and very strict.

After a long discussion of what we're going to do in his subject, he called me.

"Denise, please turn on your mic. And give me one word that comes into your mind when you hear the word 'research.'" He said.

"Good morning po, sir! One word that comes into my mind when the hear the word 'research' is 'respondents.'" Gosh! I am not so sure about my answer.

"Okay, you're correct Denise." He said smiling. "You're next, Danika!"

"Sir, 'data' po.' Danika said. The teacher just nod and called some of my classmates. Until it was the turn of Miguel.

"Sir I think 'process.'" Miguel said, his brows are furrowed and he looked nervous. I decided to chat him.

G7 - Rodriguez, Denise:
don't be nervous. believe me, youre answer is correct.

Nakita ko kung paano siya nag-bago ng ekspresyon. Now, he looks comfortable and confident with his answer.

"Good, Miguel! But expound your answer para maintindihan ng classmates mo bakit process."

"I am not sure po if this is correct. But I think, it is a process dahil hindi po pwedeng madaliin yung research? you cannot jump to the other chapter unless you're finished with the first one. dapat po step by step process. kasi po I think maguguluhan po if hindi inuuna 'yung iba muna?"

"Good point, Mr. Willson!" He said, agreeing to what Miguel said. "Okay class that's all for today. Let us now leave this zoom meeting.

After that, I decided to rest my eyes. Para naman hindi lumabo mata ko. I don't want to wear glasses!

After a few minutes, I am again on zoom. I am now drained. Last subject na 'to. Pagod na pagod na 'ko. I have a pile of works that I need to do. I just want to rest, pero ang dami ko pa rin gagawain.

I checked my sticky note. Doon ko kasi nilalagay ang mga kailngan 'kong gawain. Tapos, pag natapos ko na 'yung gawain na 'yun, I just crossed it out.

- PR: read & think of possible topics
- PPG: essay (due: tuesday)
- CPAR: draw (due: monday)
- FILLANG: bionote (due: monday)
- CW: vignette (due: monday)

Gosh! This is so many. How can I even finish all of these? Puro pa Monday ang deadline. For goodness sake! It's already Friday. Hindi ba dapat pahinga?

I chatted Danika that time kung hindi ba pwede niyang sabihin sa ibang teachers na habaan ang deadline. But she said she tried to reach them, but they answered no. Kung ano yung deadline, 'yun na raw 'yon.

I ate dinner and watched 'Friends' on Netflix. It's really funny & somehow, I forgot my problems. After that, I took a bath and browse on my social media. I was about to close the wifi on my phone when Miguel messaged me.

Miguel Willson:

Miguel Willson:
haven't you read the password? i said, let's study together.

how should i say this? i know nahihirapan ka, Yohann. i just want to help you out. i'll help you. let's do school works together. let's balance it out. thru zoom :):
