CHAPTER TWELVE

"You two. Stop!" Sabi ko na parang maiiyak na. Tumigil naman silang dalawa, si Miguel lumapit sa akin at niyakap ako.

"I'm sorry, Yohann. Fuck I'm sorry." Patuloy pa rin ang pag-iyak ko. "Shhh." He caressed my back.

Umalis ako sa yakap ni Miguel. "Miguel and Alonzo, umalis na muna kayo." Sabi ni Mommy. "Ayokong mauulit ulit ito. Wala munang pupunta dito para bumisita kay Den."

"I'm sorry tita." They both said.

"Den, sorry." Alonzo said. I just nodded at him. Nang makaalis na silang dalawa, pumasok na kami ni Mommy sa loob. Nakatulog na rin ako agad sa pagod at kakaiyak.

Ilang buwan matapos ang nangyari na 'yon. Nakapag-desisyon na rin ako kung anong course ang kukuhanin ko para sa application sa UST. Dalawang options ang kailangan sa application. Una kong pinili ay ang Journalism at Legal Management. Either of the two, it can be my pre-law if ever I still want to pursue law.

"Mom, Dad I passed my application na po for UST." I told them while we're eating

"That's good, Den!" Dad said. "Talia, eat!" Talia giggled and I smiled at her. I really miss being a kid, with no problems and just playing around.

When I finished eating my lunch, I washed the dishes and went to my room. It is Saturday it means rest day. But, I can't. Gusto ko kahit isang subject lang may matapos ako.

Miguel Willson:

will you do something today?

Den Rodriguez:
Yes. Kahit one sub lang :))

Will we meet on Zoom?

Miguel Willson
sure

what sub are you going to do?
sabayan kita

Sinabi ko sa kaniya na Practical Research muna ang uunahin ko. He said okay. Miguel is still courting me. Hindi na nga lang siya dito. He's still not allowed here according to Mom. But we're seeing each other outside.

We started our meeting and he's just quiet. Alam niyang ayoko ng maingay kapag mabibigat ang mga pinapagawa. So he just muted himself and said that he'll be there when I need him.

When I'm done I muted my mic and said, "I'm done. Ikaw?" I asked.

"I'm done too. Should we end this meeting?" He asked.

"Sure. If you have other things to do." I said.

"Yeah, let's chat na lang later."

"Sure. I'll sleep first."

"Okay. Sleepwell, Yohann." He said smiling. "I miss you." He said.

"I miss you too." Then we ended the call.

Hindi ko alam kung kailan ko sasagutin si Miguel. Ang alam ko lang na gusto ko siyang makasama habang buhay.

NOTE: OMG! ngayon lang ako nag-update sa story na ito! it's been a year! sorry i got busy in college lang talaga 😩 short update muna hehe. anyways, i will finish this story soon! stay safe guys! 🫶
