Han's POV
For years I was left alone. I didn't want to believe that he was gone forever. I couldn't follow him, but I couldn't watch them destroy him.
I was only five when I watched my bestfriend get beat and kicked put of the house. I mean literally kicked, they punted him like a football. (Sorry, Ishouldn't be laughing this is supposed to be sad 😅🥲) I couldn't leave or go after him until I was older. I'm 20 now, I left around 6 months ago. I'm different than most, but so is he.
We're both Hybrid's but I embraced mine. He didn't, he hated that side of him. I mean I would too if my father forced me to kill and drink someone's blood.
I looked for around 4 months after I left when I smelt him. His scent. It's not the same it's more...how should I put it...dirty? Yeah....he smelled disgusting.
I sniffed the air a few more times and then there he was. Kim Seungmin, my bestfriend. He hasn't changed much, well other than he shifted, but that's about it. Oh, and he's pretty tall. Taller than me, but I know I'm short so that's besides the point.

I kept watching him for 2 months. Then I smelt it. An Alpha, I knew he wouldn't be able to sniff me out, but Seungmin was in danger. He was just hunting. He doesn't eat very much, but that's not his fault.
He found his mate that day. It makes me kinda sad. I feel as if I was forgotten. Waiting to move on. Until we made eye contact. I panicked at backed farther away, he was at his training ground....
