• Chapter Seventeen •

Here Comes Trouble

            5 years had passed. He was still watching, lurking, waiting. When the right moment comes, he's going to snatch them up, eat them, take them, sell them. They were nothing to him, nothing but toys. His son had 3 children, 3 perfect hybrid children. He knows they'll sell well. He knows what they're worth. That's why he wants them. He wants them to hurt Seungmin, but he also wants them to have for himself.

He's a greedy man, raised by greedy people. Sold off at a young age, Jaeyoon had gone through nothing but trauma. Instead of breaking the cycle, he decided he was going to continue it. Even after all he'd been through, he could care less. Trained to not think, feel, breathe. He was a monster. Born and raised to feed and serve.

In the woods~
    He sat watching them, Dani, Seulbin, and Jeseop. He watched as they ran around the front yard and watched as his son laughed with his husband. He watched as his youngest fought with his mates. He just watched. Waiting for the right moment. He had to wait until Dani was alone.

He's taking Dani first, the youngest of the three, the gullible one.

Dani, 5 years old, sweet, loves everyone, is a hybrid mix, and has magic.

He's going to strike when they all go to sleep. He's been watching them for years now, and he know their routines. Wake up, eat, learn, train, learn more, play, eat, nap, eat, eat again, and finally sleep. Sleep was the time he's going to strike, Dani didn't sleep, and the poor boy couldn't. He had visions of monsters and destruction. Dani is scared to sleep. That's why Jaeyoon is going after him first.

He's still just waiting.

Seungmin's POV

     "Bedtime! Come on, Dad will ready you a bedtime story!" I told my boys as I pushed them up the stairs. I always read to my boys before bed! I want them to know what I've been through and who to look out for! I want them safe.

I feel something. It's like it's lurking, and I don't like that. I know I'll do whatever it takes to keep my boys safe! That's why I'm planning on setting up a house with protective magic tomorrow. I don't need anyone trying to get in here. I need to protect my family. I failed once, and I won't fail again.

I'm going to save them.

OMG, HIII GUYS!! Not this being the first update in 2 years 😭😭 my bad. But anywayyy I have exciting things coming up for this story! Of course, it might get off of the storyline because I haven't weitten this thing in forever 😭😭 that's besides the point! I want you guys to be looking out for clues in the next couple of chapters !
