return. Her teammates were wide awake, sitting near each other as they shuffled awkwardly around each other. Naruto blinked, eyes twinkling with delight as he caught sight of her ❝ [Name]! I go so worried over you! I didn't know where you went so I got worried ya know! And Kakashi sensei still hasn't woken up and than that weird mask guy showed up and attacked you with senbon. I got so worried ya know! ❞
He clung onto her like a koala, nuzzling into her neck like a child. [Name] let out a sigh, she's forgotten how clingy Naruto was. ❝What a drag, I just went out to take a breather. The unexpected variable had caused some stirring in my brain ❞ Her lips pursed in annoyance, it was a direct hit to her pride, especially when she's a sensing type nin. She's gotten arrogant over her skills, she'll have to tone it down and realize her skills aren't exactly top notch at the moment. Her gaze drifted off to Sasuke and Sakura who looked somewhat beat up.
Her brows furrowed together, in the anime Haku only showed up during the second fight. She supposes it was rather pathetic of her to believe the butterfly effect wouldn't happen. ❝You guys look like you've been through hell❞ Her remark was met with an eye roll from Sasuke and a rather loud offending screech coming from Sakura❝Is Kakashi awake yet? ❞ All three of them winced, ❝ No, we believe he's in a chakra depletion state. He won't be waking up for a while. ❞
It was the first time she's even gotten a complete sentence from Sasuke, it unnerved her to see him in such a state. Something must of happened when Haku showed up ❝That sounds reasonably accurate. His chakra levels aren't exactly balanced at the moment, so in the meantime you three will be filling me in about the events that happened while I was unconscious ❞ She glanced at Sasuke expecting him to at least inform her. He was probably the only one other than her to be reasonable in situations like these.
But she supposes she isn't exactly in the right mind to criticize anyone at the moment. Not with her issues going on, but she has to keep up the supportive teammate facade in front of others. ❝ You we're attacked in a blind spot. A missing nin much like Zabuza had attacked you with a senbon piercing one of your pressure points. It had caused you to faint, releasing Zabuza from your shadow possession jutsu. We launched an attack against them but in the end they had managed to get away. ❞ Her eyes narrowed, none of this had ever happened in canon so she was treading in new territory. ❝ Is there anything else that happened? ❞
