A week later. 10/29/21

I held Jayda hair as she threw up again.

"Bitch this is not a fucking stomach bug. You're pregnant." I told her, and Ari nodded her head.

"I am not pregnant Karin." She sighed, wiping her mouth.

"Okay, so let's go to Walgreens then. Take some pregnancy tests, and you say you aren't pregnant so you shouldn't have anything to worry about." I replied and she rolled her eyes.

"Fine, let's go." She said, after brushing her teeth.

I grabbed my keys and got in my car. Ari got in the front, and Jayda laid out in the back.

"That bitch pregnant." Ari mumbled, looking at Jayda through the rear view mirror.

I nodded my head laughing as Jayda smacked her lips.

"Do you want a baby Jayda?" I asked her, and she sat up.

"I don't know. I'm just scared because what if Ben doesn't want a baby?" She began to cry and I sighed.

"Jayda stop crying. If you are pregnant, Ben will be there for you. You know that boy love the air you breathe." I told her making her laugh.

"I don't wanna take no tests." She whined.

"Okay look, if you take the tests, Karin and I will take some with you. Just so you don't feel alone." Ari looked back at her as I pulled in Walgreens. I shrugged my shoulders, knowing my birth control didn't play about me.

"Yeah I don't mind." I said, taking off my seat belt.

I opened the backseat door, helping Jayda out the car.

"Thank you bestie." She said and I nodded.

We walked in Walgreens, going straight to the women's isle.

"These fucking tests $17 each." Jayda mumbled, rolling her eyes.

I grabbed 6 off the hook, grabbing Jayda hand.

We walked to the front, scanning the tests through self checkout.

I paid the $100, and grabbed the bag.

We got back in the car, and I pulled off.

I looked down at my phone that was ringing, and put it to my ear, answering it.

"Wassup mami?" Kentrell voice came through making me smile.

"Nothing, just left the store. What you doing baby?" I asked him, making a right turn.

"Recording this song with my cousin. What time you gone be home? I miss you." He mumbled into the phone.

"I miss you too. I'll be there in like two hours." I told him, pulling into Jayda driveway.
