Leorio Pov

I slowly woke up feeling pain on different parts of my body. I groaned and turned my attention to Gon who is awake eating.

"I see that you're awake kid, that's good I was getting worried. How are you feeling?" I asked

"Still in pain but I'll be okay, thank you for saving me." Gon said

I told him it's fine and asked him how he was captured by Kurapika. Gon explained and was shocked of how insane Kurapika became.

I got up, walked towards him and sat on his bed and asked him a question that made him blush hard.

"Do you love Killua?" I asked

He turned his head away and I saw his face turn a dark shade of red. He asked how I found out.

"The way you stare at him, wanting to go on adventures with him alone. The secret admirer gifts for him and how protective you are of him especially from Illumi and Hisoka. How can I not see it?" I laughed

"Even Y/n said she noticed the chemistry between you two." I said nudging him on his shoulder

I told him it's totally fine for his feelings for Killua. I comforted him and I shared him how my love for y/n blossomed.

*Prolouge flashback Leorio Pov*

Ever since the hunter exams, the moment I saw her I felt a warm feeling inside.

I asked y/n out for coffee after the everyone parted ways from York New park.

I felt a cold stare from Kurapika when I left his side to talk to y/n. I shrugged it off and spoke to y/n and we agreed to meet at Starbucks for 7.

I waited at the coffee shop for her, I saw her approach me and we went into Starbucks.

We stayed for at least an hour until we walked out of the coffee shop and walked to the park enjoying the scenery.

She sat down on the bench and I sat next to her. I stared at her for a bit and she looked at me with a warm smile.

I looked away quickly and a blush crept on my cheeks. I heard her giggles.

"Why are you red?" Y/n giggled

I felt her warm hand on mine and I shyly gripped it. We sat in silence for five minutes until I spoke.

"I've always had feelings for you the moment we met and learned more about you as a person. I was nervous that you didn't feel the same way. " I said nervously

"I feel the same way but I wasn't sure if you felt this way in return too." She said nervously

I smiled but kept my cool. I was somewhat surprised because I assumed that she was falling for Kurapika.

"I thought you were falling for Kurapika." I mentioned

"He's a great guy but I only see him as a friend. Plus he's seem more interested in avenging his fallen clan by destroying the Phantom Troupe." Y/n said

"I rather take interest in someone who have a different variety in his goals." Y/n smiled

It started to rain so I grabbed the umbrella, she grabbed my hand again and we left the park.
