Dil kehta hai

Chapter 2

Walking with his stick from one corner to another corner  udit looked  worried  .

Aruna and Ragini were sitting on the sofa waiting for Nandini to come

It had stopped raining there was cool breeze all around .

Nandini entered inside her house

Seeing her Ragini and Aruna got worried Ragini and Aruna quickly went towards her

"Nandini how did you get so wet " Ragini asked

"Maa I wasn't getting any auto nearby" "so I decided to walk then it started raining ".

"Leave how she got wet Nandini go and change or else you will get ill ."

Nandini nodded in yes and quickly went upstairs to change

It was 9:00pm Nandini with her grandparents and mother was having their dinner. Her siblings already finished eating. They were sleeping. They slept early because they have school tomorrow and even on holidays they sleep early. It wasn't allowed in their house to stay awake till late night

They were done eating their dinner Nandini was helping her mother to clean up the table.

"Did something happened when you went to Meenu's house " Ragini asked

"No Maa nothing happened "

"Then why are you so quiet you look so lost "

"Maa it's was raining" I was running to come home soon  I am tired that's why I am quiet she lied

"But you don't look tired " she said she knows her daughter very well she can tell something is wrong by seeing her face .

" Ragini can you bring warm water for me " Aruna said very loudly from her room .

" Yes Maa I am coming "

" Nandini  clean the table I will go and give Maa water"  She told her .She hurriedly went to the kitchen .

Nandini was relieved for now her mother won't ask her any questions she quickly cleaned the table . She went to the kitchen to clean the plates She was done . She was waiting for her mother to come so that they both can turn off the lights of all the rooms and go to sleep. 

After few minutes her mother came.

"So sorry I got busy talking with Maa"
She said guiltyly looking at her daughter whose eyes looked a little sleepy

"It's okay Maa " let's turn the lights off. It's already very late.

They turned the lights off wishing each other good night they went to their rooms

Nandini woke up in the middle of the night. It's for the third time in this week She got that dream .It has been two weeks since that incident but still she can't forget it .From that night she was getting a dream where she is seeing the same incident that happened that night.  She is irritated with that dream but whenever she doesn't get that dream she doesn't get peace. The   eye which is deep as ocean give her some kind of peace.

She looked at the time It was almost 5:00am in the morning. She took out her clothes for the day and went to the bathroom to take a shower 

She came out of the bathroom. Her hair was wrapped with a towel. She started drying her hair. She applied a little makeup .She was ready.

She went downstairs . The lights were on which means her mom woke up.

Ragini was making breakfast. Nandini thought to woke up her siblings.
