she took a seat in the
empty chair next to him as
he stood beside her.

"ugh god, did you get tagged
in that post earlier?" she asked
him, "yup"

"probably some regional
tween hoping to boost his tiktok" he
shrugged. she stole his
drink out of his hands, nodding.

she downed it,
passing him the empty
glass.

julien & karima laughed
at his statement, looking around the
bustling club.

karima tried her best to look
over the towering heads,
attempting to find more of her
friends.

"hey jules, where's obi?" karima
inquired. "i don't know, he said he'd be here" she answered, going to
look around.

karima's eyes fixated on julien's
martini, causing max to chuckle. "what?
she didn't even take a sip out
of it, just wasteful!" she joked, stealing it anyway.

she downed the drink
again, signaling the bartender for another glass.

"wow, 2 in a minute?
you might break my record"

the 2 conversed amongst
themselves, reverting to the beautiful
dress that clung to her body.

you settled with the vera wang
anyway" he praised

"yeah i had like
the perfect one in the close-"

her smile dissipated
