cautioned, "worse. i may have slept
with aki" the blonde responsed.
"may have or did?" julien
articulated, a smug smile on her
face.
"i did! i did! i slept with
aki! i slept with aki many times."
audrey cried out.
"what? why? when? basically
all of the interrogatives. you've known
him for a decade. why now?"
"i don't know what happened.
kiki drama? sexual ennui? my apparently
latent self-destructive tendencies?"
she answered as she paced around the girl's
bathroom.
"it was one weekend. one long,
surprisingly informative weekend.....like
jules-" she trailed before getting
interrupted by her friend.
"are you gonna tell karima?"
julien asked, obviously knowing the
answer.
"i mean, i feel terrible, but
it had nothing to do with her, i love
her!"
julien shook her head while
sucking her teeth at the answer she
dreaded.
these past few days had
been hell for the whole group;
karima going mia
had them all on their toes.
"until i can give him
a reason for these anomalous actions,
why cause her pain with the
truth?" audrey muttered, attempting to
make a treaty with jules.
"consider my friend-da signed.
i just hope gossip girl doesn't find out, y'know she's been on kaki
hella hard lately." she agreed, bringing
out another problem for her
friend to face.
"you're right. now that she's
verified if she posts it, people might believe
it's true this time."
"it is true audge." julien acknowledged,
because clearly her friend was in
denial.
that statement caused a
switch in audrey's brain to go off,
because she was in a state
of anxiety & sadness seconds later.
"i know! i'm a bad person! i'm
a bad person!"
the bell interrupted their
conversation, one similar to the one
aki & obie were in.
"i'm a terrible person"
"why? because you wiped out
at les?" obie remarked as aki threw a
sarcastic smile his way.
