It had been a week since the argument, every day Donna felt something deep inside her rage like an animal. She finally came to a meeting that was between her and Lady Dimitrescu, her hands shaking. "You need to relax." Angie chirped, catching Donna's attention. I can't. I can't relax, she has (Y/N). Donna felt the gnawing feeling continue to rise.
When she came to the castle, Alcina's daughters immediately ran off to their own activities, almost as if repelled by the quivering anger inside Donna. Under her veil, Donna bore her teeth and quivered in her clothes. Coming to the meeting room, she spoke to Alcina, focused on keeping an eye out for you. "Donna, I'm sure you'd be happy to hear that (Y/N) is ready to return. They've had quite a fun time, especially since my dear daughters have grown a friendship with them!" Alcina caught Donna's attention, giving a small nod. "Good..." Donna gave a simple answer, her heart rising when she saw you.
You surely looked as though Alcina had taken good care of you, fine clothing and gourmet food. What caught Donna's attention was how you smiled to Alcina. Oh. That's a new feeling.
Donna could barely think, nails burying into her palm as she clenched her fists. It wasn't until Angie tapped her arm that she noticed. She had drawn blood, but kept that fact hidden. Now I realize this. I must make you (Y/N) Beneviento. There is no other way around it. I cannot let Alcina have you.
As you grabbed your bags and joined Donna on the ride home, she threw herself onto you, hugging you tightly and peppering kisses on your face. You're mine. Donna ignored your gentle playful pushing, only letting go when she heard your breathing turn hoarse. I'll make sure you're mine.
Dinner was rather quiet, but Donna had ordered food from the village from your favorite restaurant. She watched you with great interest, seeing you occasionally glance up. "Are you going to keep staring at me?" You asked, giving a small laugh. "Will you marry me?" Donna asked. She didn't pull out a ring, but rather documents to legally claim you as her spouse and have lordship. You choked on your food, taking a sip of water and looking at the documents. "Donna, I thought-" You looked up at Donna, her expression serious and unwavering with her hands crossed and propped up in front of her. "Sign the documents, please." Donna spoke once more.
Looking over the documents, they contained the legal change of your last name, your home address, citizenship, and lordship, amongst more. Slowly signing the forms, you looked up at her. "What made you change your mind?" You asked, searching her stare.
"My love for you, my sweetest pisică."
And the unrelenting jealousy I feel when you smile at Alcina.
