"Like, they're not friends friends....just friends. That's it I suppose."
- Me

-(Title: Abnormal)-

The island was quiet. Wind rustled leaves, waves crashed themselves against the shoreline and an object was sat against a rock. While he didn't quite understand why he was doing it, it just felt right in his system so he went along with it. The hint of saltwater slightly hurt his slippery body, but not too much.

If anything, it was a surprise to witness Goo being so quiet despite not being asleep. He was the total opposite of his cheery, talkative self, which felt really right but also very wrong at the same time. It just wasn't in his nature to be this way. The silence felt bearable and unbearable at the same time, making him unable to have any opinions on this.

The worst part was that nothing had even happened to him. All that really 'happened' was his body falling silent mid conversation before he slid over to where he was now. The other Pinkers just assumed he was tired, yet he was wide awake over here and saw no problems with himself besides from..well... this.

Mumbling a bit under his breath, Goo's eyes looked over to where the rest of his team were. Despite his intentions to not look at anyone in particular, his eyes couldn't help but settle on Bow's sleeping figure. He was close to her and normally even knowing she was around would cause him to crack a smile, his shallow frown remained.

But it wouldn't be a bad idea to get help.

Seeming to look away for a moment, his little body began to slither over to the pink figure who had named this team when he couldn't find the words. It was almost like he would have a nervous breakdown on camera, which just would have been even worse. Even though it was faint, a warm tingle filled his body when thinking about this fact.

As he moved, more memories resurfaced. Riding inside of Cabby in the first episode, learning he was on the Pinkers with her for the first time, and even just hanging out together in the third episode. It made the tingly warmth grow stronger, and a smile barely started to rise on the slime-like object's face.

However, his head was so lost in these memories that he ended up bumping right into Bow, which unsurprisingly woke her up. While his darker, duller side wanted him to apologise and go away, Goo's true colours chose to shine through as he explained.

"Hey, uh...I think somethings wrong with me. I'm not talking as much as I used to by a landslide, and I keep having negativity wash over me...kind of like how the waves are washing over the shore? They just-"

"Come and go? Yeah, I feel you. I kinda feel like that sometimes, so I can relate. Anyways, what even made you bump into me?"

"...I was thinking."

"About...?"

"Stuff. Memories. You know?"

Bow didn't respond, as she had stood up and walked over to Cabby, who was surprisingly awake at this time before grabbing a blue file from her, read a little, gave it back and then walking back over to her slime-like friend. That honestly scared Goo a bit, since he didn't know what had been read. However, it turned out to be a good thing as she quickly embraced him in a comfortably tight way.

She had checked his file for the best and easiest way to comfort him, and tight squishy embraces were the potential solution to this problem of his. It seemed to work, since his body was slipping around in a somewhat playful manner, so Bow carefully laid herself back down on the grass while keeping the embrace as tight as she could.

Even though she hadn't read everything in the file, she had a feeling that maybe this would help even further when laid down, which proved to be very effective as despite its slippery state, Goo's body had almost immediately relaxed into the grip and his usual warm smile returned once more. It was pretty obvious that neither of the two were going to be moving from where they were for the rest of the night, yet neither of them seemed to mind.

From the distance, Cabby watched from afar as the two faded into whatever dreams they would have for the night. She just nodded and placed the blue file inside of her again, happy to see that her knowledge was being used for all the right purposes.
