Shuichi's POV

I was sitting in the living room reading a book until all of a sudden my uncle tapped on my shoulder.

"Hey Shuichi, can you go to the store and get some Advil? My head hurts really badly and unfortunately we don't have any." His uncle said while rubbing his head.

"Oh of course uncle Saihara. I will be going right now." I said as I got up and walked to the store.

The store was like 15 minutes away so it wasn't too big of a walk.

*at the store*

When I arrived, I saw Himiko and Tenko from last year at school.

I heard them calling me over there so I ran over to them.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Hey Shuichi, can you pleeaaasseee try one of her potions? Everyone just keeps running away from us. we've been out here for an hour." Tenko asked, annoyed.

"Oh sure." I said.

"Nyeh? Really? Yay!!" Himiko cheered.

So Himiko handed me the pink potion and I drank it. It had a sweet and weird taste to it.

I when I let go of the bottle I saw Kokichi walk in front of me and I started to get butterflies in my stomach.

"Guys I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach.. what does that potion do?" I asked worried for what was gonna happen to me.

"It's a love potion. When you drink the potion, you fall in love with the first person you see and you saw one of us and now you're in love with one." Himiko giggled.

"What?! A degenerate male in love with me?! Nu uh! Get away." Tenko shooed me away.

So I went into the store and went into the medicine section and grabbed the Advil.

Then I started thinking to myself.

"Am I in love with Kokichi?! This is so so bad..."

After I grabbed the Advil, I went to the checkout and saw Kokichi in front of me.

He turned around. "Heeeey Shumai! what brings you here hm?"

I started to blush at the way he acted. he looked so cut- nope nope.

"U-Um well you see.... Uh... I- Im getting medicine for my uncle." I stuttered.

God why can't I get my words out *cries internally*

"Awww are you... flustered~? neeheehee!" Kokichi asked suggestively.

"Wh-What?! No" I aggressively defended myself.

"Woah calm down Jamal!" Kokichi said, pushing me away from him.

And before I knew it, it was my turn at the cash register.

I handed the Advil to the cashier.

"That will be $10.99" She said.

"Alright." I handed her the money.

"Have a great day!" She said when I walked out the door.

"You too!" I said as I was walking back to my house.

*at Shuichi's house*

I arrived to the house and handed my uncle the Advil.

"Thankyou so much!" He cheered as he hugged me.

"You're welcome."

And then he took 2 tablets of Advil and went to bed for the night.

This school year is going to be a literal disaster... oh my god.

Instead of thinking these thoughts, I decided to go to bed as well. Tomorrow was the first day of school so I need to stay positive.
