Author's Note

Hello, my loves.

My great-grandmother passed away not twenty hours ago. I was at her bedside in her final moments as well. I'll be taking a break from writing for a little while to process everything and just be with my family. It's still all very surreal, and although I'm not taking it as hard as some of the rest of us, it's difficult to see everyone sad, y'know. 

She was a beautiful woman, she taught us all so so so so much, and she will be missed very dearly. Card games and cake baking and life and stories and laughs. She would have been 89 in just a few days, but it's such a relief to not see and have her suffer anymore. 

I've put a little Dolly, Emmylou, and Linda video there just because.

I think that's all I can say. Thank you all for your support with my writing and getting this book so close to 6k. Your requests are fantastic, your comments, the votes. It's unbelievable, I love you all so much.
