Both Jay and Y/n were childhood friends ever since birth!
They were absolutely inseparable,
Until they turned 15, Jay started ignoring her, teasing her all day, and barely makes eye contact with her. That lead them to fighting everyday that even both of their parents try to seperate them from eachother.
Y/n's parents decided to transfer to another house, making Y/n move to an only girl's school, and leaving Jay behind.

4 years later, Y/n decided to transfer to another school.
As a new student, she has absolutely no clue where to go.
Being very focused to the school map in her hand. Accidentally, she bumped into someone making her fall to the ground.
"I'm so sorry, let me help you up!" A masculine voice said above her
She looks up finding out that person's voice was Jay..
"Y/n? Is that you?" He asked
Y/n tries to act normal, not showing happiness on her face that she is glad to see him again.
"Yeah, hi." She said
Jay tries give her a handshake but she steps backward.
"Oh yeah..I have class later, we should hang out sometime?" He said awkwardly
"As FriEnDs!!" He yelled making her jump out of shock
"Yeah..sure.." She said as they both wave goodbye and moved on to their separate ways

The next day, they both hung out during recess but Y/n was very ignorant or silent.
She would only reply with Yes/No/Okay. She didn't want to go back to the past where he ignored her, but now she's ignoring him.

"Why do you keep on ignoring me?" He asked
"Ye- oh! I'm sorry! I spaced out." She lied
She listened to every word he said..
But she wanted to protect herself from getting hurt again.
A few days later, Jay starts to ignore her again. Not sitting beside her during lunch. Not even a wave hi as they both walk by eo in the hallway.
"I'm used to this.." Y/n sighs .
She finds out to be in the same class with Jay in Literature.
"Today, I'll be assigning you guys with partners as your assignment..." The teacher continues to explain
"Okay so I'll be choosing who gets to be your partner.." the teacher said picking up the clipboard on the desk
"Please not Jay..Please not Jay.." Y/n thought to herself
"Lastly, L/n Y/n and Park Jong Seong" The teacher said
Jay looks at her with a somewhat anxious and blank expression.

Your POV
I arrived at the library 10 mins late, as I saw Jay placing his head on his palm while sleeping.
Hahh~ You haven't changed at all.
I let out a chuckle and he was still sound asleep.
I gathered all my books and slammed it on the table making him wake up with a shocked expression on his face.
"WHAT? YOW?? WHA??" He yells making the librarian ring her bell aggressively several times
"Oh you're here.." he said with that husky voice
"Let's go on with this.." I said
"Let's make History!" He yells
"Wrong subject." I said .
"But the guy liked the girl.. isn't that love already?" He asked
"The guy kept bullying the girl.. that's not love"
"It's not bullying, it's teasing.." he said
"Maybe teasing made her think that THE GUY HATES HER??"
"THE GIRL SHOULD'VE THOUGHT IT THROUGH!" He yelled back
"THE GUY SHOULD'VE EXPLAINED HIS FEELINGS TO THE GIRL IN THE FIRST PLACE!?" I yelled making the Librarian ring her bell again
Jay stands up with a irritated expression and leans his head on the table.
"You don't understand.." he mumbles
"What?" I asked
"Can we do this tomorrow instead.. I'm having a headache." He said
I let out a scoff and stood up.
"Fine!" I said

We both head outside of the library and suddenly it started raining.
"Did you bring an umbrella?" He asked
"No..you?" I asked and he shook his head
He walks forward getting soaked in the rain.
"Stop you'll get sick!" I said
"C'mon, it'll be fun!" He said smiling facing up while raindrops fall down on his face
"I'd rather wait for it stop.." I said going back inside but was suddenly stopped by someone grabbing my waist
"AHH! YAH! JAY PUT ME DOWN!!" I yell as I was carried by him getting my back very wet and all I can see was his back
Jay puts me down as he laughs hysterically
"I'm soaked!! We're going to get sick!" I said covering my head
"We used to do this when we were kids remember?" He yelled
"Yeah! But we're not kids anymore, Jay!" I said walking back to the library but was grabbed by the wrist
"I'm sorry..." He said
I turn around seeing his head looking down.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you or teasing you or arguing with you everyday. I did all that because I......I liked you. If I'd be honest with you, I still do! I was too scared to tell you because I was afraid that you'd hate me. It became worse when you left..I felt alone without you beside me. If you could give me another chance, I promise t-"
I placed my lips against his as he takes a moment to sink in the situation and he pulls me closer to his chest.
We both take a breath and he pushes strands of my hair back to my ear.
"I love you, L/n Y/n!" He said
"I love you too, Park Jong Seong!" I said pulling him into another kiss
