"You're quite an interesting fellow, (Y/N)." Zhongli stated before sipping on his tea, the sentence embarrassed you of course.

"Is that bad..?" You blurted while looking at him nervously. You saw him smile after finishing his drink.

"Of course not, i find you interesting since you find books intriguing. Most of the women i meet don't like books very much.. or maybe it's because i rarely meet with them." You let out a small laugh at the laay few words he said before he took a small bite from his dish.

"What do you mean by rarely meet with them?" You leaned back onto your chair, wanting to listen to his answer.

"I was loaded with work last month so i barely had any free time to meet or talk with anyone in a casual manner. I have more free time now since they hired more people to help me." He smiled as if he's relieved that he has less work nowadays.

"What do you usually do?" You asked him before taking a bite of your dumpling.

"I just work in the library during weekdays. When i have free time, Venti or my co-workers ask me to accompany them with things such as drinking or strolling around."

"Oh, is that why you guys were here yesterday?"

"Precisely. Truth to be told Miss (Y/N), he wanted me to meet you. He told me that you were the one i responded to during the phone accident with him. You're truly a good friend to him from what i see."

His answer made you blush profusely, you hid it by taking a sip of your drink.

After a few minutes, you two were approached by Xiangling with the bill. You hastily pulled out your wallet but alas, Zhongli stopped you by holding your hand.

You shrieked out of embarrassment when he touched your hand, Xiangling noticed you and started laughing.

"I shall pay for this one (Y/N)." He pulled out a card and gave it to Xiangling, who took it and went to the back to process the payment.

"Are you really sure? I can pay you back.."

"Nonesense, besides, it's not exactly my card.."

"Wait what–"

Your eyes widened, you saw how calm he still is in this situation. You have to admit you were lowkey scared for the owner of the card he used.

"Not his card??!!"

"Zhongli.. did you st–" He cut you off by placing his glass back in the table.

"I didn't steal anything, in fact, it was a friend of mine who gave it to me. He personally told me i can spend it on anything as long as i don't completely drain it's funds." You laughed at what he said, it was not everyday you see someone use a friend's credit card like this.

"They must be loaded.." Zhongli nodded in agreement.

"He's not quite humble about it as well, if you want, i can introduce him to you someday. He'll be delighted to meet such a wonderful fellow like you." Your heart thumped his words that're followed with a small smile. "Thank you.." You muttered while your eyes were scanning around you to hide your embarrassment.

You suddenly heard an alarm go off that sounded like an acoustic guitar. Zhongli fished his pockets to see it was his phone.

"Oh, i apologize (Y/N), it seems i have to go back to the library." He had a small frown on his face, before sighing and shutting off his phone.

"It's quite alright, thank you for today, Zhongli." You stood up and lightly bowed. He stood up as well, "I enjoyed our time while it lasted, i do hope we can do this again someday."

"Uhm.. Is it okay if i get your number? So we can hang out again soon!" You managed to say to him. He looked at you before smiling, turning on his phone again and swiped.

"Here, my number, you may also type your number on my phone." You took his phone and typed in your number, you then took your phone out to type his number onto your contacts list.

"Again, thank you for today, Zhongli! I hope we meet again soon." You were so happy everything went well and you got his number. Zhongli took his phone from you and tucked it away in his pocket.

"I can say the same thing to you too (Y/N), i'll see you again soon." With that, you parted ways. You were thinkimg about exploring Liyue to bring back souvenirs or ingredients for Lumine to cook.

You were currently in the docks of Liyue, taking selfies and pictures with your phone so you could have a souvenir picture.

Liyue was definetly a wonderful place, especially by the docks where the beautiful ocean was located, kids playing near ocean was also such an adorable sight.

While taking pictures of the scenery, you suddenly bumped into someone.

"Ah, sorry!" You turnes around and bowes a bit. "I-It's quite alright.." The guy you bumped responded.

"I was just admiring the ocean, didn't mean to bump into you!"

"Nothing to worry about miss!" The guy was eating a light blue popsicle, kinda strange since he seems to be also holding a container full of it.

"Are you.. selling popsicles?" You gestured towards the container he's holding, he immediately pulled out the popsicle from his mouth.

"Ah no- no! It's all for me.. Not that i'm being selfish or anything! I just need them.." His face became reddish while he muttered something about 'yang energy'

"I'm (Y/N) by the way, i'm from Mondstatd!"

"I'm Chongyun, sorry to disturb your picture-taking activity, Miss (Y/N)."

"No problem at all! It was nice meeting you by the way but i have to go!" You bowed lightly at your new friend, who returned the same gesture befor epopping another popsicle on his mouth. You both parted ways and you went to the market to buy souvenirs and ingredients for your two roomates back at Mondstatd.
