Am I mistaken or are we breaking under weight from the long time that he played god?

ANNAIS MIN HAD EVERYTHING to prove and so little time left to do it. As one of the five infamous children of the underworld who were destined to lead the seven on their journey of death and destruction, Annais Min had the fate of the entire universe resting on her mortal shoulders, holding her down as the world began to fall away to storm and fire. If Annais and her sisters failed to guide them down the right path, the seven would be killed and Gaea would rise again. With Gaea came the loss of the Greek Gods, the demise of humankind, a life of despair for those she chose to spare.

So just a bit of pressure, to say the least.

Then again, Annais Min was no stranger to the plague of watching and waiting eyes. Having lost her mother at such a young age and not knowing who her father was, Annais Min was in the limelight ever since she arrived at Camp Half-Blood at the age of ten with her older sister, Hea, and her cousins ( though they were essentially sisters by that point ) Ezra and Melanie Min in tow. For a moment, she hoped again, welcomed the warm stares as something she hadn't had for a long time. But in true Min fashion, it didn't last. Once she was claimed as the daughter of Hades, the ruler of death, Annais knew she had no chance at genuinely fitting in anywhere. The hope was crushed and in its place grew a girl who would only ever need her siblings and cousins; the thought of letting somebody in only to disappoint them was just too much for the offspring of death.

Then, of course, Jason Grace came along with a prophecy she wanted no part in and suddenly there was hope again. Annais wasn't sure if she hated or loved the feeling, but she knew it wouldn't matter if they didn't stop Gaea, if she didn't rise to the challenge everybody thought the Mins would surely fail.

Oh, but Annais Min could play god if she wanted to. They'd see.
