A sudden and loud groan of frustration from the kitchen caught Draco's attention, and he sighed, setting down the papers he was working on and pulling himself out of his chair.

"Hermione?" He called out as he made his way to the kitchen. "Is everything alright, love?"

He walked into the kitchen to see his wife angrily looking through the pantry, moving items around with a fury. She didn't answer him, continuing her search for whatever it was she was looking for.

"Where...the bloody hell...is it?!"

Sighing quietly again, Draco leaned against the counter. "What are you looking for, dear?"

"The peanut butter!" She whirled around angrily, moving her search to the cabinets now. "I have no idea where it is, and I know for a fact that it wasn't empty so I shouldn't have thrown it away!"

Draco couldn't help but smile at this, shaking his head. Hermione, being seven months pregnant at that point, had been having extreme difficulties with her memory and was misplacing items quite often now. He felt bad for finding it somewhat amusing, but they always found the missing item in the end.

One of her most recent snacks had become one or two slices of bread with peanut butter, and while he knew she liked peanut butter, he was surprised by how quickly it had disappeared.

"Would you like me to go buy you another jar?" He asked calmly, smiling softly at her.

His offer made her pause, and she leaned against the wall, chewing on the inside of her cheek as she thought.

"Are you sure?" She asked, looking up at him finally. "I would feel bad..."

"Sweetheart, there was maybe only enough left in that jar for two more of your little snacks," He explained with a smile. "I was going to have to get the new jar tomorrow anyway, considering how often you use it. I don't mind at all, and I know it would make you happy."

This made her smile finally and he left shortly after to retrieve the needed snack. Not even ten minutes later, he returned and she happily grabbed the new jar from him.

"Thank you, my love!" She beamed, returning to the pantry to get the bread she wanted to use.

After making up her snack and returning the items to the pantry, she went back to the fridge to grab a drink while Draco put away the few other groceries he had bought as well.

When he turned around, he found her staring in the fridge and he paused. "Sweetheart? Is everything alright?"

She didn't move for a moment, but then reached for something and whirled around, slamming something down on the counter angrily.

"This child better be a damn genius with how many brain cells she's stealing from me," Hermione said angrily, putting her head in her hands and letting out a loud, frustrated groan.

Draco looked at the item she had slammed onto the counter and burst out laughing when he realized exactly what it was: the missing jar of peanut butter.

"Why was it in the fridge?" He managed to ask between laughs.

"What on earth makes you think I know the answer to that question?!" She exclaimed, scowling at him. "It's not funny, Draco!"

"Hermione, sweetheart, I'm so sorry but it is absolutely hilarious!" He dodged the dish towel that she had balled up and hurled at his head in frustration, taking in a deep breath before saying, "At least we found it, and you can finish it tomorrow after it warms up."

She took a deep breath, still scowling at him before snatching up her plate and leaving the kitchen, causing him to chuckle as he replaced the dish towel.

"Your child apparently thinks its hilarious as well, because she's kicking my stomach!"

He laughed again at this and called back, "She's your daughter as well, Hermione!"

"Not when she kicks me, she isn't!"

He laughed again and went out into the living room to join his wife who had settled into her chair, kissing the top of her head as he passed her and smiling.
