"Are you confident about it?" asked Sidharth's mother trying to read his face.
"I think so...I mean no loopholes that I could think of" reverted Sidharth, after a lot of contemplation.
"Aur vaise bhi maa, kya hi kar skte hain vo...I would be knowing ki kya kaam kar raha hun..."he added, giving himself a reassurance.
"Hmm theek hai...kar le phr...there is nothing to lose anyway" his mother replied, strengthening his belief and confidence.
Sidharth had been telling her about the offer by Mrs. Shikha. He was skeptical if he was diving into it and deciding upon too early, that probably he should wait for some other offers too. What if other prominent and celebrated casting agencies approach him with their offers, who knows? It could have been a possibility but he himself, in the journey to his home back and the other full day had scrutinized the best of the options in his knowledge that could be considered to the current situation and had rounded upon only one thing that he had received this call on the day he considered lucky and fortunate for himself. The very conception making him more drawn towards the proposal.
After their talks were ended, he decided to ring the office that Mrs. Shikha was leading with a mission to let new and fresh talents get some significant opportunities per their flair in the industry and had considered him to be a face of. On conversation he was informed that he would need to visit their office for contract signing purposes and other formalities. He was informed on what all documents he would require to be brought along to the office.
He was here, looking for the documents in his locker where he happened to find his most precious possession, the stack of letters. Few he himself had written but never got a chance to get it delivered to her and few, very few that she had written back. Some were just one sentence replies, only one or two detailed ones. She was not the one outspoken kind, he had realized. She would rather talk with her capturing eyes that would speak all the unsaid only if the long lashes are not covering them. It was him to push her to start the conversation almost every time they met but once on it, her slightest chirping would resonate his whole being, body, mind, and soul. The sugary, dulcet, almost musical voice that he had got a chance to hear at length recently, reverberating and playing with his mind. The desire to listen to the very same soul soothing voice at its peak resulting into him clumsily rushing to look for the phone, bumping into the cupboard with a thud causing a box to drop from the topmost shelf landing on the floor bouncing off from his head.
The articles from the box scattering on the ground, a metallic jingling sound followed, pushing him back to the memory lane of the inimitable jingling noise that an armful of bangles had carved its presence.

Flashback
Sidharth was back to the banquet hall sitting at his place beside his friend, smiling without a reason at least that's what Tanay had thought. But there definitely was a purpose to it, someone very special that had made his heart flutter with every of her expression and talk directed towards him. Infatuated or not but he was attracted to her more strongly with the short conversation they had downstairs. She seemed very sweet, timid, and very cute apart from being her gorgeous self. The way she was seeking his approval to make her way back, her asking him to help himself with a meal before leaving for home and gracefully denying walking together to the hall, kind of gravitated him more towards her. She was simple, her simplicity worked as a magnet for him.
She caught a glimpse of him entering the hallway, swiftly dropping her head down to look at her hand to nothing specific but just to avoid an eye contact, a coy persona of her getting its best out. The slight bent on her lips never losing the angle, those adorable bunny teeth torturing them to put an end to the flexing. She looked delectable; he was no-more hungry for food but the sight of her shying away was his satiation.
