"God...how do I thank you for this...finally..." Smiling, he kept on thanking the Almighty above and then to her for this amazing disclosure that he had wished for so long, from all his heart. There was this thrill yet a tranquillity in his tone reflecting the contentedness he was feeling.
The tender act of his lips grazing the back of her palms for micro of a second, came as an awakening to her. Arousing an array of sensation all along, it took her a moment to grasp and realize what had just transpired. She shuddered with supreme pleasure rushing through her entirety. A plain touch it would seem but for her it was something beyond imagination to start with and special much because it came through him. But the coyness in her, not allowing her amusement to unveil or persist longer as she dunked her head deep, trying to pull her hand out of his hold.
The quick change in her conduct didn't go unnoticed by Sidharth. One moment she was unconcernedly lost celebrating his gesture, the other, she was trying to escape the very same passion. He recognized the predicament, making his clasp more secure on her hands, repeating the same gesticulation of dropping a feather kiss, this time on her fingers.
"Sidharth..." She whispered closing her eyes for a brief moment to gather the courage to have pronounced his name. The struggle was, she liked what he did but her novice mind wasn't able to figure out if it was right or wrong. For an individual like her, coming out of her home and meeting him alone was in itself a big deal, so his doings a little while ago were bound to affect her the way it was happening.
"What...?" He mumbled looking intently at her face observing her each facial articulation.
She had her lashes down, unable to meet his'. As he spoke, she even turned her face away to not look at him nor allow him to look at her for she had no answer of the 'What' he had posed.
"Look at me...!" He commanded but the politeness in his tone composing it as a plead. When she still didn't turn to face him, he shifted closer to her, taking in more length of her hand in his enclosure. From just palms to now her forearms in his hold, firmly drawn to his lap and wrapped in his own such that his fingers filled the gap between hers and the whole of their forearms in contact.
"This is no wrong...you can trust me on this...I know my limits sweetheart..." His courteous claim carving an impressive mark on her, making her belief stronger on him. Simple yet enthralling where his words, adding to it was the endearment at the end. She felt lite.
Eventually turning to him, she silently eyed their joined hands gradually shifting to his face where displayed the most angelic smile, an infectious one depicting the sureness of his words, which soon was spread across hers as well. The amusement wasn't gone but she was restful, getting accustomed to his every connect and touch.
Sidharth was in awe of her. Her responses to his sayings and doings, her pristinely amusing ways of dealing with all the happenings, he was falling more with each passing moment and the intensity of his feelings hiking up all along. Him capturing her hands completely was his way to calm her senses down and it was working positively for both of them. There was a stillness in the moment, cozy, plush, of a lush green layout in a rainy morning with small birds chirping and tweeting kind.
He still had his fingers rubbing her finger-gaps when he registered a metal ornament around one of those. He loosened his hold, taking her palms flat in his'. It was smaller yet radiated beautifully in pair with his', slight pink for his tight hold earlier it seemed, and soft, of a baby's. He admired it for a brief moment before shifting his focus. Just like how a mind with creative discipline which he was, being an architecture degree holder, would have reacted instinctively, his eye spontaneously moved to the intricate design of the ring. The shape, it appeared similar to two conjoined infinite symbols and on having a closer view it denoted two calligraphic 'S's linked together. His mind already on work, guessing onto something as he took a sharp turn giving her a questioning glare. Knitting his brows together, tilting his head slightly to an angle he again took a close view of the ring and then to her in astonishment.
