"Hey, Ena! I gotta go pick someone up! I'll be back okay, stay with Granny Kanami" I yelled out

Ena came from downstairs and looked up at me.

"Where are you going?" She asked

"I'm gonna bring a friend over! He's around your age and I think you two will get along great!" I smiled

"Ohh, yay!! I can't wait to meet him!! Can I go with you!" She said excitedly

"No, you can't, I'll be back really quick so why don't you go take a bath or shower while I'm gone," I said

"Oh okay!!, Granny Kanami!!! Y/n is gonna be bringing a friend over!!!" She said as she ran upstairs

~at Hori's home~

I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

The door open, Hori's father can be seen

"Hello Sir, I came to pick up Souta is he ready?" I asked

"Who are you? And why do you want to pick up my son?" He asked

"You idiot!, Did you forget that L/n-san was coming over to have Souta for the night!" Hori yelled at her father

"L/n! Is it really you!" He asked

"Umm, yeah it's me," I said smiling

"Y/n!?" Souta can be heard from inside

Shortly after, he came running to me, I bend down and stretch my arms out, he came running into them hugging me as I hug him back.

"You came just in time! I just finished making something for you!" Souta said as he looked at me.

He then ran off back inside.

"Woah!! I haven't seen you in years!" Hori's father exclaimed.

I just laughed awkwardly

"How's Rin doing?" He asked

"Father is alright!" I said smiling

"You know, I drank with him the other night," he said

My eyes widen

"Re-" I cut off by Souta

"Here!" He said as he handed me a card

I took the card from him and opened it.

"Dear Y/n-" I began

"Don't read it here!!" He yelled out

"I- okay okay, I'll read it when we get back home, you ready?" I asked him

"Yeah!, Lemme go get my bags!" He said and ran back inside

"Hey, do you have Father's number?" I asked Hori's father

"Yeah-"

"Can I have it! I lost his number" I said

"Umm sure, I'll go write it down," he said and left

"Hey L/n, how didn't you come to school today?" Hori asked

"I took today as a day off, working at a big restaurant is no easy job," I said chuckling

"You're such a hard-working person, I look up to you so much," she said

"Thanks, but you're a hard worker too, looking after your brother and keeping your home in order, that's no easy thing to do," I said
