Nya was a week away from graduating and she couldn't wait, She had senioritis bad. She took her time getting out of the bed capo had put in work on her body last night and she was tired and sluggish, Capo had definitely turned her out.
She got out the shower and was heading for her room to get dressed when her mother stopped and approached her.
"Morning makiah take these daily" her mother said hanging her a pack of pills. Her mother said calling her by her middle name
"What's this?" She asked
"Birth control" her mother said

"I'm not stupid I was once your age and besides I heard you guys- well you last night Makiah" her mother said.
She instantly felt embarrassed she thought she was being quiet and she thought her mother was sound asleep.
" your about to go away to school, we do not need no unwanted pregnancies " she said
"Okay" Nya said taking one as she walked back into her room.
But the time she got back in her room she was dried off she applied some lotion and deodorant and then got dressed.

Her phone began to ring as She fixed her hair and grabbed her books before heading downstairs. She sat on the couch texting Aniyah until capo let her know he was outside.
" ma, I'm leaving"
" alright, I love you"
" love you too" she said before going out the house.
She walked over to capos car and got inside. She gave him a kiss and then put her seatbelt on.
" here" he said handing her a caramel frappe
"Thanks" she said taking a sip of it
"I knew you was going to need that " he said smiling
"Whatever. My mom heard us- well me" she said making capo bust out laughing
"I told you come to my crib and you ain't want to come "
"It's not funny"
"Should've listened to me " he said
"Whatever "
"What you want to do later?" He asked
"Well we could go to the carnival and see your mom, I miss her"
"She's been asking for you "
"Okay well I want to see her"
"Aight I'll take you" he said
Nya nodded as they slowly approached her school
"Ughh I can't wait to graduate " nya said gathering her things.
