Adrien's POV:

"Woaaaaaah! Ladybug and Chat Noir? Together? Pretty attractive couple if I do say so myself. Except, then there's Marinette," Plagg babbled, as he giggled at his joke.

"Oh, Plagg!" I laughed, pushing him away playfully. "I love Ladybug, but she's my partner. Aside from that, it could become a problem! Our relationship as superheroes could get tangled up, and that could lead to The History of Paris," I continued, as I straightened myself up.

"Suuure. So what are you waiting for, blondie? GO HELP OUT LADYBUG!" he shouted in a high-pitched voice.

"Plagg, Claws Out!" I shouted back, throwing my fist out in front of me.

Within a few seconds, I leaped out of my room and stepped foot onto the balcony. I took a deep breath, and looked around for the lady in red. She was nowhere in sight, but surely I was the last person she wanted to lay eyes on. Shit.

Suddenly, I heard an evil cackle coming from a few streets away. I took my baton, extending it towards the ground below me, and pushed myself off the edge of the railing. I wasn't excited nor happy to fight alongside Ladybug; instead, I was shit scared, mostly because I hurt her feelings. What does she currently think of me? Does she officially hate me? Within a few seconds, a faded voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Hey, Evil Cupid, you lookin' for me?" Ladybug jokes. Her puns weren't the best, but I still loved that about her. She always made an effort to make me smile, and truthfully... It worked every time.

"It's not Evil Cupid, IT'S REJECTIFIER! And yes, you nasty bug... I'll make sure you're thrown out, the same way I was! Where have you hidden that baker-boy?!" the villain scowled, as she continued to approach Ladybug.

"Hello, M'lady. Have the bad guys aimed at your heart yet?" I joked, as I stripped down my baton. What can I say? I loved making a big entrance.

"Nice of you to drop by, Kitty Cat!" Rejectifier said, as she aimed an arrow towards me. Ladybug and I reacted quickly, as we pulled ourselves up onto the rooftops of the buildings which surrounded us. The villain was quite fast, considering the fact that she had cupid-like wings; which meant dodging the arrows wouldn't be easy.

"Aren't you too busy to help out tonight?" Ladybug said in a harsh tone. As I predicted, she was extremely upset. You had one job, Chat. One job.

  As I stared at the angry bluenette with confusion in my eyes, I was startled by loud cackles which came from the vicious villain.

"I love it. So much pain for you already... Now, what would happen if we teamed up and shot an arrow at the stray?! Maybe this way... he could pay the price for pushing you away!" Rejectifier continued on.

With that, the villain began to chase us down the street until we approached a group of Parisians who were enjoying their night. I couldn't help but notice Rejectifier's actions once she laid eyes on them. In the group, there were two couples, and a few people who weren't necessarily 'part' of the love department. The villain almost instantly aimed an arrow at some people who weren't in a relationship, causing those who were shot to become hopeless and their lips to change color. As I stood by, I couldn't help but listen to the angry words of the mesmerized Parisians.

"You used to push people away... now, you're the one who will become isolated and everyone will push YOU away!" Rejectifier scowled.

A spark of knowledge hit me, and helped me realize exactly how to defeat this akumatization.
