'I am really sorry for yesterday' Aryaman was doing something on his computer while I was standing infront of his desk with a guilty face

'Oh no issue that work was probably more important than me' he said without looking up

'Its not like that.'

'I know what its like'

'It was really urgent , I wouldn't have left you like that otherwise' I bent my back a little to get a proper view of his face as he was sitting on a chair

'You left me standing alone in the restaurant , how embarrassing it was for me' his typing speed increased

'So you are upset because you felt I embarrassed you and not because we weren't able to eat together' I playfully said while keeping my hand on his shoulder 'Arrey yaar you don't have to think that much , hardly anyone would have noticed that' he shrugged my hand off

I wanted to start this new day on a good note by apologising to Aryaman but he was more angry then I expected him to be . My decision was rash and I had to pay for it . I was so hungry but was not able to eat the delicious meal that I ordered and at end had to be satisfied by eating maggie.

'Sorry is all I can say' It was my last attempt.

He kept doing his work and didn't respond .

I turned to leave

I felt guilty for leaving him without giving an explanation last night but I felt there was no need to get this angry , I had my reason which I didn't want to tell him even he should understand .

'Nandini..... I can't stay angry at you' I heard him say from my back 'I accept your apology'

As I was about to look at him Riddhima came from her office

'Nandini Mukti is already here , she's waiting for you' She said

'Oh .. I'll straightaway go to her' I walked towards the sitting area to meet Mukti forgetting to give a reply to Aryaman because I was in a hurry.

I saw Mukti sitting and chatting with Mr Sharma who is a very famous wedding card designer . Their faces turned towards the door as they sensed the entry of another person in the room . I took a seat after exchanging some pleasantries with them .

'You reached home properly na , was everything fine? ' Mukti asked

'Yes , and thankyou once again' I gave her a smile , everything was fine except the behaviour of the person who dropped me home .

Mr Sharma started showing Mukti different designs to get an idea about her likes and dislikes . Mukti also had some things already planned in her mind which she wanted in her card.

'We can work and create some designs now that we know what you like, we'll start working on it today itself' he kept his Ipad which was used for showing the templates on  the table

'Is it possible to get some designs by today , we are already short of time and I wanted to get done with this work as soon as possible.' she said

Mr Sharma thought for few seconds before replying

'It will be really difficult for us but  we'll send something to you by the evening ' Ofcourse he agrees to this demand , who would want to loose such a big customer

'That will be great' Mukti said 'But I won't be able to come and give my inputs , Nandini' she looked towards me 'You'll have to assist alone , you know my preferences and I like your choice of patterns and colours I hope you'll do your best'
