A/N: hi 🥺
there's a lot of dialogue in this chapter just to have the story moving for the nexts chapters. it's important so you'll be fine. lol.
Lola
what did they know?
what could luka had possibly said out of his big fucking mouth that would be making my mom stare daggers at billie and i like this?
"what did you do?" i say frustratedly as i start charging at luka.
"it wasn't him!" claudia interrupted, with a hand, she sighs. "they just figured it out.."
"figured out what???"
billie and I look at our parents, hers were quiet, so was my dad. but my mom?
heated.
"I just want to know.. what gives you the right to walk around my home constantly lying straight to my face." my mom starts as he folds her arms in a questionable whether. the woman's eyes dim and the density in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. but instead of getting choked up my nose flairs and my knuckles ache up. just the idea of the person who raised me constantly never being pleased by my intentions made constant flames light inside of me. it was a never-ending loop with her. I see red.
"I never lied to you!" I start defensive but my mom was already reading her lips with her next argument.
"then what do you call it Lola! I specifically tell you as long as your living under my roof there will be no dating and no girlfriends! you tell me right to my face that's not what's going on and then proceeded to do it behind my back anyways...."
"well, technically.... that's why I'm moving out," I say with a sideways smile as I chuckle confidently, pushing my mom further to her limits but I could care less about her feelings at this point. she easily steps on mine anyway.
"you just don't get it, do you? you just won't back down?" my mom scuffs and shakes her head. "you're sixteen!"
"seventeen in three months! and no, I won't... because it's my life and I'm tired of you ruining it. you have nothing better to do but worry about what I'm doing. jesus mom, get a life."
"dayum" Luka puts his fists over his lips.
"ooh" Jaden expressed.
"that's gotta burn mom" aura says casually from behind me in the triangle she, Billie, and I were standing in.
my mom's shoulders fell and she looked at me like I had murdered every last soul in our family tree. like I was the disappointment she always tried to stop me from being. she narrowed her eyes and pursed her lips, I knew that look,
that look could kill..
but I didn't let it faze me. she was going to have to accept this. for once and for all.
I'm so tired of her bullshit
yet, on the other hand, Billie had scurried off to confront her parents in a rush. the blonde bounces over to where her mom and dad sit at the table, worry being spelled out in the way she bonded her eyebrows together and raised her hands pleadingly.
"I'm so so sorry I didn't tell you guys, I really was going too soon. I just got.. scared" Billie says softly and sadly at the same time as she stares down at her unfazed parents. she fondled with her hands and lightly colored painted nails. partly looking down she sighs, subjugated by the entire moment itself.
but they had looked at each other and back at her vacantly, sentiment in the way they took in their own daughters' absence of letting them be aware of something so huge in her life.
