Lola's POV

I could barely sleep last night, not just because of running into billie but the noise of my phone blowing up all fucking night with text and notifications and missed calls.

I guess that's the result of when billie fucking eilish follows you on Instagram.

"Turn that shit off" aura groaned from the other bed.

"Sorry" I reached over to my phone to silence it as I checked the time.

11:30pm

Let out a small sigh and put my phone down. Last night took so much out of me, I'm so glad I can just take a day to sleep. I layed back down and shut my eyes and I pulled the covers on top of me.

4:15pm

Me and aura had packed up to head for her sisters house. As we got in the elevator I felt my phone go off and I opened up my dms and almost dropped my phone like that.

Aye u still gonna be in the city tonight?

I stared at the message for a while. I couldn't even remember what I was doing today before it snapped in my head again.

Yeah we're staying one more day so my sister can see her sister lol

That's all I was thinking. Why would she wanna know what I was doing tonight? My heart was frozen and so was my brain apparently.

I stared at my phone. I looked up at aura and finally shut my mouth. This was like a crazy dream. I don't know about being by myself in this huge city but I would get to hang out with billie and have some fun. So what the fuck? Fuck it.

"If you drink anything i will kill you. If you do anything you know you shouldnt i will kill you. If you go out of the building with anyone i will kill you-"

"Aura! I'm sixteen. I'm not gonna go anywhere with anyone. Damn."

I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car, i circled around to auras window in the driver's seat.

"Just remember i will kill you"

"Uh huh" I laughed backing away from the window as aura started to drive off.

"Love you!"

"Save it!" aura yelled and i waited till she got to the stop light to turn to the building. I took a deep breath. I don't really go to parties much but billie invited me. Literally billie eilish were talking about here. I was gonna be fine.

I walked in the building and all i see was flashing lights and people everywhere I turn and i mean everywhere. Eyes kept catching mine as I walked through crowds of people slowly, my eyes searched for billie. I guess the dirty looks meant they could tell I was pretty young or that's just how New Yorkers are. Shit. I dunno, my family is from here, not me.

I was wearing black leather shorts and a fishnet crop top with neon orange tube top under and my holographic platform sneakers.

I pulled out my phone and started to text billie when i saw neon green coming my way. That's literally all she was.
