Maybe I should help other demon slayer prodigies aswell...!

You felt happy after helping that burgundy haired boy out- kind of. That emptyness felt... Less empty, and it was fulfilling to see him. Maybe being with humans is the answer to this void of emptyness inside.
You wanted to help more people.

In search for other boys and girls in the forest, you stumbled over a girl with a butterfly ornament in her black hair. Something felt familiar with her too, and it got you excited.

Sparkles twinkled in your eyes...

She noticed and didn't hesitate to pounce on you. Quickly getting the frck out of there, you knew she didn't need help from you at all..! Well, that wasn't fulfilling at all, you thought.

'She would do as told, so it'd be best to just avoid her at all fuuoAAACKing ÇOSTS,' you thought as you dodged one of her attacks.

But at the same time you couldn't quite bring yourself to hate her either.

Just like when meeting those other two, Inosuke and Tanjiro; you were excited to see Kanao too.

Wait..

Inosuke and Tanjiro..?

Kanao?

Who are these people?

Stepping out of a tree after hiding, you immediately heard the screams from a boy. You looked around in confusion. At the same time, the screaming boy ran right past you.

A demon on his tail soon followed.

He wore a yellow jinbei outfit, and it was white-triangle patterned.

You blinked two times. Before chasing after those two.

The boy who got chased ran blindly deep into the forest, and didn't realize he ran straight toward a mountain wall.
He stopped and turned around to face the demon who had cornered him, fear in his soft brown-gold eyes.

"Hihihii, now I've finally got you!" The demon said.

"Don't scare him!" You shouted in a panic as you just caught up to your old demon comrade. He had lapis blue hair and purple skin.

"Why not? When he's dead I'm gonna snap off his bones and eat him piece by piece..!!!"

Like chicken?!

The boy flinched, his soul left his body, before suddenly passing out and fell backwards, landing with a thump on the ground.

"Did he stop breathing?!" You worried.
The demon beside you began to laugh hysterically at the blonde boy.

"HahaHa! What a Coward!!!" The demon laughed.

'Oh no....' you could feel your stomach turn and it felt like someone was gonna die.

The demon infront of you approached the passed out boy, and then
pounced at the kid, his sharp nails ready to dig into his flesh.

You could only stare as your body couldn't move to help.

But then.....

In a flash the boy disappeared, making the demon shift and land on his feet.
It frantically looked around trying to find him.

You did too. Since the boy was sleeping, you felt more on edge for your own life for some reason.

Suddenly you noticed the boy, as he stood in a stance with his hand ready on the handle of his sword. He faced towards the demon as you heard him inhale slowly.
