5. new start of new day

Rose pov

I wake up to my alarm ringing, I quickly shut it off before any of the two wakes up

"4:30 I have one hour" I mutter and quickly fresh up and go to the kitchen to make breakfast for both of them

After making some of Emma's pancakes and a warm bottle of milk and formula for Noah, I put them in the oven with a note that I am off to work if you are up then eat it

I quickly make my way to the restaurant hoping I am not late for my first day at work

As I reach the restaurant, I see Amanda sitting on a chair and glaring at two coffee cups and manager Roff standing behind her

What is going on?

"Guys, what's going on?" I ask

"She is stupid I tell you, never get under her influence Rose" manager Roff says

"Huh?" I ask

"Well, she is glaring at the damn coffee mugs because she is not getting to do the black coffee right taste," he said

"I am doing everything these dam mugs are the problem I tell you, you need to buy new mugs" Amanda complains

"Here let me try," I say and put my apron on and start working on the black coffee

To add taste, I add a pinch of my special coffee powder to it

"Here taste it," I say giving a mug to Amanda and a mug to Roff

After taking a sip both of them freeze, I panic

"What is it? Is it not good?"

"God Rose this is amazing," Amanda says

"You are now going to be in charge of food instead of serving, if only a black coffee is this good, I can't wait to taste your other recipes Rose," Roff says

"Thank you" I replied

"Ok so our work in the morning is to clean and serve the customers that come in the morning you will help me clean and when there is someone you can go cook, I will clean the rest" Amanda explained

"Ok," I said

And we started working, there are few more workers too but all they do is glare at me so I ignore them

"Hello welcome to star restaurant follow me I will lead you to a table for two" I looked up to see Amanda walking an old couple to the table

After taking their orders Amanda handed me the paper and spoke

"Your first ever order, go and fucking burn the whole kitchen down" she shouted and Roff looked at her horrified

"Rose you won't do it right?" Roff asked

"of course, not sir," I said and went to the kitchen and started to cook

The old couple ordered light food for breakfast with a black coffee and a milk tea, as I was doing the finishing touches, I was startled by a hand placed on my shoulder, I immediately pointed the knife I was using in the direction of whoever was behind me

I looked to see it was Amanda, who was now looking horrified as I was pointing g the knife at her

"You scared the living shit out of me," I said lowering the knife

"And you too!!!! I mean all I did was place my hand on your shoulder and then I get a knife pointed at me"

"What are you here for?" I ask
