Chapter 25

Today is the day Lilly is being transferred to the Raft. Soldiers of the raft have arrived and escort her to the jet. Bucky, Natasha, Steve and Sam are standing there watching, making sure she leaves with the soldiers. When Lilly walks by surrounded with soldiers she stares at them. From her eyes they can see that she is smiling. She is still in handcuffs and her mouth muzzled so she has no chance to practice her magic on anyone.

"Something doesn't seem right" says Natasha.

"Why do you think that?" Bucky replies.

"It was all too easy..." She replies.

Both stand there, arms crossed, watching the jet leave. When the jet leaves their sight the guys turn around to walk back inside. Natasha stands put, watching, staring into the sky. Bucky takes her hand and wants to pull her along.

"Can we follow the location of that jet?" She asks.

"I'm sure they can. Let's go back inside and see."

Inside they go to Nakia. "Do you have the location of the jet with Lilly on it?"

Nakia nods and gets the location up on the screen. "The jet is here. About 50 miles out of our perimeter."

Bucky and Natasha watch the blip as it suddenly disappears.

"What happened?"

"I.. I'm not sure. It fell of the radar." She starts pushing all sorts of buttons. "I think they may have crashed."

"Shit..!"

Bucky and Natasha both sprint to a jet and take off. When they land the jet at the location they see that the jet with Lilly on board has been crashed and Lilly is missing.

"Goddammit!" Shouts Bucky. He kicks a piece of metal out of anger.

Natasha tries to keep her calm. She has checked all the soldiers and pilot for a sign of life, but they all lost their lives in the crash. "Come James. Let's inform the Raft about this and head back to Wakanda." She takes his arm. "Come sweetheart." She pulls him along.

Arriving back at Wakanda they bring the news to Steve and Sam.

Steve growls. "How could she have escaped...? Everything was going according to plan!"

"She will show up again.. I have no doubt that she still wants her revenge on you three.. We just need to keep an eye out for suspicious activity." Sam sighs.

* A few days later *

Sam meets with Steve and Bucky.

"I've been talking to Shuri and Nakia about a plan to try and find Lilly. They think they can track her magic with the blood sample they took from you Steve. There were still traces of her magic in the sample." Sam says.

"That's good news.. I guess.. How far are they with this tracking system?" Steve asks.

"Well.. They have a plan, but they are going to need some help." Sam smiles awkwardly. "We called someone with the knowledge to program something like that. I'm sorry Steve, Bucky, but you're not going to like it." Says Sam.

"No you didn't." Steve says.

"Shit. This is not the place for a.. altercation.. like last time. I'll leave." Says Bucky.

Bucky and Steve turn to leave but are being stopped by the person standing in the doorway.

"I wouldn't have guessed you fossils were hiding here..." Tony Stark is standing in the doorway. Looking through his blue coloured glasses to Steve and then to Bucky. He squints. "I didn't know you were accommodating assassins in this place."
