Jo's pov

Luna was the only thing that deprived the room from total quietness. Alex kept looking at me from time to time like he was trying to see the full picture, like he was trying to figure me out.

- So I will need to do these thing called stitches to help your wound heal. Is that okay? - Alex asked Luna who nodded in agreement

- How is everything in Seattle? - He finally poured out - I haven't talk to Meredith in a while...

My daughter seemed to be a really faster thinker than I was at that moment

- You know my aunt Mer? - The surprised look on her face made the brunette giggle

- Me and your aunt Mer were actually really good friends

- Do you know my mom and my dad too?

- Well I do know you mommy - His eyes meet with mine but quickly turned to the open wound -but I only met your dad today... along with you and your sister

Her interruption served like a really good excuse to avoid the elephant in the room, but they were also a reminder of the fact that I couldn't continue to live my life pretending that Alex never existed.

Hey guys!

I'm sorry for not updating the new chapter sooner and for the fact that it is so small. It wasn't because I was busy or didn't have any ideas for the story, because to be honest I know exactly the direction I want to follow, but I'm just not sure if you are enjoying this fanfic and want me to continue.

please let me know if you would like to see more of it!
