+Russia's POV+
I came to work the next morning, as usual. Chief asked me to pay Meri's State form a visit. Apparently Virginia had started screaming at some point in the night, so officers were forced to allow Meri's form to be changed to some other form.

Though I did read in Meri's file that a few States didn't like being used for long periods of time. I guess Virginia was one of them, of course that was added to his file, along with a photo of his face too.

I visited the cell they were keeping Meri's State form. A police truck to take him away was supposed to come soon.

I said hello to the guard that was already there keeping an eye on Meri, he gave me a file about the form Meri had currently taken. Then I made my way over to the cell, opening the file.

It was a female form named Maine Augusta, a short girl with cat features.

I reached the cell and could see her sitting in the darkness, her cell lights off. However, her eyes glowed in the dark, shining in the darkness like glow sticks and outlined by a pair of round silver glasses.

One eye dark green, the other a lighter green, while her pupils were mere slits of black.

Her fluffy gray tail with dark gray stripes was curled around her stomach, resting in her lap as she groomed her fingers through its fur. Her fluffy cat ears were perked up, twitching and shifting directions.

She didn't seem to have noticed me yet.

I coughed into my hand and her fingers looked to dig into her tail upon that, like I had scared her.

Her eyes turned to my direction, peering at me with a chilling glow.

Then she blinked and the pupils in her eye's widened, even her sudden hold on her tail was relaxed and released.

"Oh? Hello" she said, with a rather soft and gentle voice.

The restraints she had on, that used to be see-through green when Virginia was wearing it, had now become a see-through light blue, just like when Meri himself was wearing them. But I also noted that the sleeves on the restraints weren't buckled to her sides for some reason, allowing her hands to be free.

Anti-magic material worked by sucking up magic particles created by a person with an ability, which usually made it change color depending on the magic of the person it was restraining.

"Is something wrong?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Oh it's nothing" I reassured her.

"Are you Miss Augusta?" I asked for confirmation. Maine nodded her head.

"Good" I said, looking down into her file and flipping through pages.

"My names Russia Moscow" I told her. "I'm a detective assistant" I added, giving a bow of the head.

"I'm Maine Augusta, an upper middle class State ranking in 23rd" she said, respectfully bowing her head to me.

I thought about the questions my father had last night, the ones asked right before Virginia shut down on us.

"If you don't mind, could I ask you a question about your ranking system?" I asked, sitting down on the ground. Maine slowly nodded.

"What's the point of it? Like does a certain class have a certain purpose or something?" I asked.

"Upper and lower high class are much more likely to be used for a challenging mission" Maine answered. "Like if there's more than one killer or escape may be slim" she explained.
