three weeks later

as swim lessons finally began
to wrap up, y/n traded off her
equipment to the saturday night
lifeguard and clocked out,
heading out to her car.

when she arrived home, she
quickly took a shower and
eagerly hopped into bed,
happy to wind down after
a long week.

not that her week had been
bad. in fact, it was a very
good week in her books.

it definitely helped that she saw
akaashi and koji quite a lot. she'd
seen quite a bit of the two over the
past couple of weeks and she grew
quite fond of akaashi, although she
was still trying to figure out her
feelings.

during swim lessons earlier on
in her shift, when the akaashi's
came in, y/n couldn't seem to
take her eyes off of the older
akaashi. and although she did
get to talk to them quite a bit,
she was disappointed that she
couldn't talk more, and had to
actually do her job.

y/n covered up with her blankets
and picked her phone up, going
through the notifications on her
phone. she sorted through school
emails, read back on the teacher's
group chat, and texted her mother
back. she replied to a couple of old
friends from her first year of college
about meeting up and noticed one
lone notification left from an
unknown number.
