Connie walked into the kitchen and looked to Mia and sighed.

She could see how down Mia was and she hated how off that Mia was and she knew it was down to Iain seam. Connie wasn't stupid and she knew how Iain had messed with Mia head and she hated to see Mia how she was and she how off she had been

"are you okay" Connie asked as Mia looked up at her and smiled

"I'm all good, I am just tired that's all it is" Mia said as Connie sighed

"you can't lie to me, I am your mother and I know you and we are all tired it's part of the job but what I know is that It is to do with Iain and how he treated you and you deserve a lot better than that. If he can't see you for you and how amazing you are you need to try and move on and find someone who will see you for who you are and how great you are" Connie said as Mia looked to her mum and smiled

"I know, it's hard to let him go but I will sort it out you don't need to worry over me mum" Mia said as Connie smiled

"you are my daughter I always worry about you and always will" Connie said

Mia got to work and sighed as she saw Iain and looked to him

"I am not in the mood" she said as he looked to her and sighed

"I just want to talk Mia, I know that there is something going on with you Mia. Please just talk to me" he said as she sighed

"I have nothing new to say" she said as he looked to her

"yeah you do. Come on, I know you and you have been off with him and avoiding me for weeks as I know that there is something going on and it's not to do with the pregnancy scare. It was good until then, come on talk to me" Iain said as she looked to him and sighed

"I can't oaky it will ruin it all, our friendship" she said as he looked to her

"Mia. What are you on about" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"never mind forget it" she said as she went to walk off as he grabbed her arm and smiled

"it's okay it's me".

"I know it's you Iain but I can't as we will never be the same again" Mia said

"you can tell me" he said as she looked to him and sighed "I love you" Mia said as she looked to him before she pulled away as he said nothing as she pulled away from him and walked off

Mia stood in the ED as she saw Lily and frowned as she looked to her

"what do you want" she asked

"you know you are wasting your time don't you" Lily said as Mia looked to her and sighed

"what are you on about"

"Iain he is never going to want you or love you. Your a nurse and you'll never be good enough. He should be with me" Lily said as she walked off as Mia frowned to herself.

She knew that she was hurt over what Lily said but did she have a right to be worried or was Lily just messing with her head again?
