Tanjiro ran through the woods looking around to see the tress quickly go past him from the speed he was going, he had beforehand had wrapped up his injures and was currently heading into the village

He got to the village to see dead bodies scattered everywhere of the villagers who resided in the secretive village, well until the demons found it

It wasn't just Genya and hantengu who attacked the village but also some powerful demons who massacred the blacksmiths and destroying most of their work if anyone attempted to recover the weapons being made

Tanjiro then walked past a very muscular body holding on to several knives and swords with blood covering on them which tanjiro quickly figured out it was demon blood

Tanjiro had ordered the demons to kill haganezuka to not draw suspicion onto himself also because he learned from the village chief was that haganezuka didn't make good weapons so tanjiro figured why not have someone else do it

Then making his way to hantengu scent tanjiro saw his clones fighting mitsuri and beating her badly, a demon tanjiro had orders killed mitsuri's blacksmith leaving her unique blade unfinished resulting in her using a normal nichirin blade and having difficulty using her breathing technique

If it wasn't bad enough hantengu used all his clones and winning against the hashira, mitsuri gruntted when a clone shot lightning at her causing her body to lose all motion

She coughed blood and tried to get up but hantengu wind clone pushed her down breaking several bones, mitsuri couldn't fight anymore as she looked around to see all of hantengu's clones closing in on her

Then she saw tanjiro in the corner of her eye feeling beyond joy to see him

"T-tanjiro!"

The teen then approached the other pillar as hantengu's clone all look at tanjiro before giving him space, mitsuri was incredibly confused seeing hantengu's clone not attacking tanjiro

Then he looked coldly at mitsuri before speaking

"Sorry about this mitsuri I really am but I have to kill you"
"W-what? But tanjiro! Y-your a pillar! A hashira! A demon slayer!"
"You think I like this group? I just hate seeing all your faces and the mere smell of you guys makes me puke, so I'll do this quickly because I don't want to see a female suffer"

Then he raised his sword high in the air with his sword shining in the moon light while mitsuri looked in horror but then cried, she along side the other hashira saw tanjiro as their hope especially his unique breathing style bring more powerful then anyones else's

Mitsuri had confidence and deep respect in tanjiro and seeing him as a potential crush but that all quickly as vanish as fast as his sudden betrayal

Then doing a downward slash at mitsuri tanjiro mentality mark mitsuri as one of the many hashira to die but what came shock everyone, tanjiro then felt something stop his sword and tug back losing his sword

Tanjiro as well as hantengu and mitsuri turned back to see gyomei the second strongest pillar with his frail in hand, tanjiro glared at gyomei seeing his sword wrapped up in gyomei's weapon which was a chain with an axe and spike ball attached to the ends

Tanjiro growled at the pillar seeing his kill get stopped by gyomei then with a snarl tanjiro question gyomei why and how he got here

"I came her because the master assigned me to protect the village from a attack but I would have never thought it would be you"
"Well things change, you either die by me or my uncle kills you"
"I decline both options, I'll just create my own opinion"
