Zenitsu looked down at his knees thinking about what happened over the past three months, it came as a huge shock that tanjiro was a traitor but more shockingly was his involvement in the murders of most of the hashira

Zenitsu felt sick to his stomach, that bright smile and happy attitude made him feel sick knowing that his friend was a traitor and he felt frustrated knowing he had the ability to fight him and could of stop him if he wasn't so cowardice

He had been improving on his breathing technique and being more brave as it was the final straw, he was no longer a coward and made fun of from his peers

He along side Inosuke trained for days on end to improve and refine their skills and hone their crafts, they swore to be stronger which made some of the pillars happy to know that at least some of the demon slayers train

It was not a good time for the demon slayer Corp as stayed before many had left or grown suspicious with each other, tanjiro had left the demon slayers in a huge mess with several blacksmiths dead from the attack

As well as killing three of the hashira and heavily injuring other pillars many lost faith in the Corp and now many were thinking of the future of the demon slayer Corp

At the infinity fortress

Muzan had looked through several demons eyes but frowning when finding nothing, he had ordered several demons to search the now abandon blacksmith village for any trace of tanjiro but sadly they found nothing

Muzan gritted his teeth seeing the area where his son fought and almost killed the hashira but was surprised attacked and push off a cliff, he had search for three mouths but found nothing

He had demons investigate the cliff where tanjiro fell off into abs he found out it was a river that lead down a other villages so finding him was going to be tricky

Muzan hoped to find his beloved son and he search for days without sleeping not as if he needed it anyway, while trying to find tanjiro muzan had prepared to attack the demon slayer HQ soon and had Nakime place a trap for all the hashira

After a few hours he sighed and orders Nakime to bring him to a room to which she did teleporting muzan into a room he didn't want to see or even think about

He looked through the room seeing a giant stuffed panda in the corner of the room smiling sadly before feeling something roll down his cheek, muzan then rubbed off the foreign liquid to reveal tears

Muzan was greatly saddened of the death of tanjiro but cling on and his upper moons to the slittiest string of hope, muzan then walked up to tanjiro's bed and fell on it not even bother to move his leg properly

He then felt more of the foreign liquid as he looks all over the room seeing everything tanjiro had when he was just a baby, on the walls were small souvenirs from when muzan took tanjiro out of the infinity fortress to the city

Everyone time he asked for a small souvenir and muzan spoiling his son too much got him one everytims, then looking around he spots a picture. The picture was one of muzan taking a picture of tanjiro when he first walked making him tear up

Then he looked at another seeing one of muzan smiling brightly at the camera and tanjiro next to him wearing a suit also smiling brightly, the picture was when tanjiro turned 13 and was bearing the end of his training

Then muzan looked at another picture, the picture was all the upper moons and muzan with tanjiro taking a big group picture when tanjiro was leaving to final selection and bring down the demon slayers Corp from the inside

Muzan's lips trembled before getting flashbacks of tanjiro in his earlier tears
