"Kath?" Dianne called Kath.
Sa receiving area, hinihintay nilang makabalik si Alli. When they heard how Alli address Kath earlier, naisip ni nila na may nangyare sa pagitan ng magkapatid.
Tiningnan sila Kath at pilit na ngumiti. Tinago yung sakit na naramdaman dahil sa inakto ni Alli sa kanya.
"I'm okay, D. Pagod lang siguro si Alli or baka gutom." they've gasps and -
"Alam nyo namang ganon 'yon pag gutom diba?" Kath added and faced them.
Archie sighed, kahit sya ay hindi makapaniwala sa inasal ni Allison. Knowing that she's gone for years, away from her sister and mother.
"Kahit na Kath, hindi dapat ganon eh. Okay, pagod at gutom? Fine. Pero dapat bang bigla-bigla ka nalang tawagin sa pangalan mo lang? Hindi ka nya na-miss?" He muttered as he looked at Kath, then to their friends. Then to Alli.
"And, the way she uttered your name, there's something, Kath. Parang may galit o sama ng loob? Sure ka bang hindi kayo nag-away?" Ynna asked.
Kath looked at them. She doesn't know what happened to her sister. Wala syang matandaang may pinag-awayan sila ni Alli noon. O kahit nagka-samaan manlang ng loob.
"I really don't know. Wala akong matandaan. Nong bumalik ako from Canada, patay si Dad, diba? Nong naipalibing, days after that bigla nalang sya nawala. We don't know where she is." she explained. They heaved a sighs and looked at Alli.
"We'll figure that out." Kate said.
Hinintay nilang matapos ang transactions ni Alli at napapaisip.
"Kailangan talagang bumili ng condo unit, Allipot? Pwede naman don sa bahay nyo ah." Archie said when they'd reached Alli's unit.
"Didn't you miss Tita Pat, Alli?" Dianne asked, looking at her. Alli avoids their gaze.
"Hindi naman ako magtatagal, aalis din agad ako after your wedding, D. And I am comfortable living alone." She replied. Kath gather her thoughts and asked Alli,
"Ayaw mo bang magpakita kay Mommy?" Alli faked a smile.
"What for?" She asked in return.
"Because she's still your mother, Alli." Kath replied, pinipilit na hulihin ang mga titig ng kapatid.
She tried to calm herself dahil hindi nya nagugustuhan ang Alli na kaharap at kausap nya ngayon.
The gang is just observing them.
Alli scoffs and chuckled, sarcastically.
"Oh, yeah! Of course, Kath. I won't deny that." She replied.
Nagkatinginan ang magkakaibigan dahil sa itinawag ni Alli kay Kath sa pangalawang pagkakataon.
Kath swallowed. She can sensed that Alli has something towards her and their Mom.
"Sabihin na nating gusto ko syang makita. The question is -" Alli gazed Kath, straight to her eyes.
"Ako ba gustong makita? No, right? So, don't push it." Kath gulped as she listens to her sister.
"Umuwi ako for Dianne, hindi para sa iba." Alli ended and turn her back against them and went to the kitchen.
"May something talaga." Kate whispered as she rubbed Kath's back. Dianne tapped Kath's shoulder and followed Alli.
"She changed, a lot. She's not Allison." Kath muttered.
"Alli..." tawag ni Dianne kay Alli.
"Hmmmmm?" sagot ni Alli habang inaayos ang mga pagkaing binili nila. Lumapit si Dianne,
