My hair was still growing. And growing. It was a decent length now, just past my shoulders.
This morning, my mom did a double take as she walked passed me.
"Caleb!" I winced at the name. "Your hair! You look like a...like a-"
"A girl?" I stifled a laugh.
"Well, yeah. You need a haircut baby boy."
I shook my head, loving the feeling of my swiveling hair. "Nope. Not a chance in hell Momma."
I'd kissed her on the cheek, announcing that I had to leave for school.
There is no way in heaven or hell I was getting all my hard work chopped off.
