Part 3

Dylan POV

I found myself thinking about Tobin all of last night. I stayed up all night.  Which is why I'm struggling to keep my eyes open this morning

"Are you even paying attention to me?" Skylar said aggressively. Which woke me up a little bit.

"Yeah just a little tired" I said yawning. "We'll get it together and listen. I don't care." He said

"Sky come bro we're about to ditch this bitch" his friend, Fredy, said.

"Bye" he said and ran off with his friends. I closed my eyes for a second after he left then I felt a wind and a presence in front of me. When I opened my eyes I saw Tobin staring right back at me

"good morning" she shyly with a smile "I think this belongs to you" she said holding up a cup of coffee.

"Howd you know?" I perked up and took the cup from her

"I uh have my resources" she said, leaning onto the locker beside mine "Caden told you, didn't he?" I asked

"Yes, yes he did, but! I came up with the idea of coffee" she said with a proud smile "Wow so creative" I said while I started walking

"W-was that supposed to be sarcasm" she asked catching up to me "Yes Tobin, yes it was" I said as I continued walking

"Oh O-ok. Anyway- um I'm going skating later to check out the town and I'd like if you'd come." She said

Tobin Eeps wanted to hang out with me? Out of all people.Why me?

When I hadn't responded she took that as a way to cover up what she had said "O-or I can um I-I can ask Caden. You're probably busy with uh-um-uh s-school and your...boyfriend" she sounded very disappointed at the last word that left her lips.

"No!" I shouted a little. "I mean" I cleared my throat "I'd love to" I said before taking a sip of the hot coffee in my hands "Thanks for the coffee by the way" I said

She hummed and played with her ring on her finger which I've noticed she fidgets with a lot. It was starting to be awkward as we made it to my class "Well uh I guess I'll uh s-see you around...t-today. It's not like I'm ditching or anything I would never- unless-"

"Tobin" I said cutting her off "I'll see you around dork" I said walking into my class

"A-alright" she shouted from behind me. She kind of stood there awkwardly till I sat down. I guess she thought I couldn't see her because next thing I know she called herself stupid and smacked her forehead. I mean it was kind of cute in way

After school I sat in the living room and watched tv "What is this I hear of Tobin asking you out?" Caden said jumping over the couch

"It's not a date, I have a boyfriend remember. She's just new in town and wants to explore" I explained

"Yeah your pants" he added. I rolled my eyes at him "Sex isn't everything" I grumbled "So you still want her right?" Caden pushed

"Why are pushing so hard Cad? Im already in a relationship so shut up" I told him as I paused the tv and walked into the kitchen whit Caden following behind me "Come on Dylan! How can you be so blind! Tobin likes you! And Skylar is the biggest dick around! Don't come crying to me when he hurts you mentally and physically like he always does! You know Tobin is a great person, but you're just too thick skulled to fucking see it" Caden snapped

"You don't get to tell me what's wrong or right! It's my life! If I want Tobin, then I'll choose her. If I want Skylar, shut the fuck up and learn to live with it!" I yelled back
