"Tobin, I hope you're getting ready for the dinner and not just playing video game" Alice shouted through my door
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll get to it in a second" I said with my focus on not letting Caden beat me
"Get ready now!" Alice said
I rolled my eyes and continued to play "Maybe shes right. It is five and they come over in thirty minutes. We've been playing all day." Caden said
"Oh so you're siding with her" I was being a little defensive, but I couldn't help it, I hated her.
"He's not on her side Toby" Dylan said coming over to us. She started running her fingers on my neck before she sat down on my lap "You've been playing all day, you both definitely need to shower, and you need to get ready." She put her forehead on mine and looked into my eyes. A smile graced my lips before I softly kissed hers
"Can you guys stop! I'm sitting right here!" Caden said pushing us apart "I'm going to shower. No funny business" Caden said
She stood up off of me and pulled me up "Het in the shower and then I'll help you pick something out" she said
"Promise?" I asked with my puppy dog eyes
She smiled before getting up on her tippy toes and pecking my lips "I'll be right here you big softie" she said
"Ok! Don't go anywhere!" I said looking at her as I walked backwards into the bathroom
"Toby I will sit right on your bed till you get out of that shower. Now hurry up!" She giggled as she plopped back down on the bed
After my quick shower I put a sports bra on my top and wrapped my towel around my bottom. I opened the door and looked over to my bed to see Dylan keeping her promise and staying right there
"Feel better?" She asked walking over to me "You smell better too" she smiled placing her hands on my abs. I tensed up feel chills take over me
"Tobs they'll be here in a few minutes..." my dad trailed off once he saw our position. We quickly jumped away and stood awkwardly looking at him.
"What's going on in here?" He wasn't really mad more like just trying to figure out what the heck that was
"Dad it's not what it looks like I swear" I explained
He waved me off "I don't wanna know. Hurry up and get dressed they'll be here soon" he said before closing the door back
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding before walking to my closet with Dylan following behind me

" I look good. We did that" I smiled and went to give her a high five, but she flinched. "Hey Dyl, I would never, ever lay my hands on you. Not even a finger in a harmful way. I always want to be gentle and caring towards you and nothing less." I explained carefully and slowly taking her hand in mine
