Part 8

Tobin POV

"She wanted you to change all of that?" I was asked by Mr. Conrique

I nodded my head and racked the hair out of my face with my hands. "She made me uncomfortable and insecure. I just couldn't stay there, at least for tonight" I said to him

"Yeah anything you need kid" He said rubbing my back while Mrs. Conrique stared at me

"Is there something you'd like to say honey?" I heard him say so I looked to her for her answer

"Don't take this the wrong way, but when will you finally ask our daughter out? I can't take the drama anymore" she said making the two of us laugh at her

"All due respect ma'am, she just got out of a relationship. Yes it might've been toxic, but even the toughest need time to heal. I'm not going anywhere. I really like Dylan" just talking about her makes me happy

"Good because she doesn't shut up about you" She said

"Honey let's stop exposing the poor girl" He said as I felt better

Just then I heard the door open "Mom, Dad I'm home!" I heard that angelic voice shout through the house

"In the livingroom!" They said together

She walked around the corner and stopped in her tracks "Oh! Hi Tobin!" She said with the biggest smile I think I've ever seen

"Hi honey. Why don't you and Tobin go hangout in your room while we make dinner" Mr. Conrique says

She nods her head and grabs my hand

Once we get into her room she closes her door and walks to her closet "So I'm guessing it was kinda ugly once you got home" she asked from inside her closet

"Ugly is an understatement" I mumbled looking down

Right when the door opened revealing her in sweatpants and a crop top I couldn't help it. "Well what happened?" She asked

I started to walk over to her

"What are you doing?" She asked me before I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her passionately

When we pulled away, our chest heaved and our pupils dilated. "I-I guess I got a little carried away" I said trying to laugh it off and back up from her

Before I could, she grabbed my wrist "No, you don't get to just kiss me like that and pretend like it was a mistake! I like you Toby and you playing with my feelings like this isn't helping! It's just going to make me feel wo-" I cut her off by sealing my lips to hers

Before I knew it I was grabbing her hips and bringing her even closer than she was before. She pushed me away "Stop it Tobin I'm serious!" She said before I kissed her again

"Tobin"

"Just shut up and kiss me" I whispered lowly into the small space between our lips

We were both hungry for each other's lips. Next thing I know we're slowly retreating to her bed

"Wait! Woah, woah, woah." I said "S-sorry to interrupt, but um" I looked around my surroundings and scratched my head nervously "A-are you sure about this part?" I asked

She walked back up to me before getting on her tip toes and pecking my lips "I'm sure about you and I wasn't thinking that far yet" she said

"But this time you're not going to reject me and your gonna kiss me back" she said before kissing me again.

She pulled away and looked into my eyes "And then you're going to cuddle me and hold me" she said putting my arms around her waist. Then, she kissed me again.
