"Ow", Ella mumbled, feeling pain on her head; her eyes slowly opening, as her vision came clear, she saw what appeared to be of storage container units, the place swayed a bit, confirming that she was on a ship of some kind; and pirates, one walking up to her, as Ella attempted to get up, she couldn't, she was tied down, hands behind her back, ropes around the chair, and no matter how much she struggled, it wouldn't budge
"I have already dealt with your friend, now it's your turn", the pirate, Ramses stated
"Which friend... I have many", Ella asked, earning a punch in the stomach by another pirate,
"Your husband, Nathan", Ramses stated, "I'm a nice guy... where is Iram of the Pillars",
"I can't tell you what I don't know", Ella stated
"Bullshit", Ramses sneered
"Besides, you're a pirate, even if I did know, once I told you, you'd kill me", Ella explained, earning another punch in the stomach, making her cough
"Where is Iram, Ella", Ramses asked
"I don't know", Ella coughed out, earning another punch in the face, knocking her out in the process; after some time, gunfire had woke Ella up, as she rose her head up, the room began to spin, forcing her to lower her head and close her eyes; from what she could heard, the gunfire was a bit distant, yet close, after that... all was quiet for a short while
"Ella", Nate shouted, making Ella look up once again
"Nate", Ella asked as Nate ran up to her
"You ok", Nate asked in concern as he freed Ella
"Room's spinning, but nothing I can't handle", Ella said, standing up, wincing in pain in the process, "I don't know what's worse, this, or what we went through when we went after Albuquerque's treasure", (A/n- anyone get the reference)
"We need to get out of here, come on", Nate stated, grabbing Ella's arm
"I'm fine, I'm fine", Ella said, attempting to move, but almost fell, Nate quickly catching her, "alright, maybe you should lead the way",
"I gotcha, come on", Nate said, right before they could move, the sounds of guns being cocked was heard
"Oh, crap", Nate muttered
"Nathan, you have given me so much trouble, I promise you, we're gonna end it now", Ramses stated, ordering his men to recapture Nate and Ella, Nate carefully let go of Ella, and slowly approaching the goon; later punching him, throwing a grenade and shooting Ramses in the arm, the grenade exploded, sending water into the hold, and making the ship lean
"Didn't really think this through", Nate said as armed goons came in
"I know, come on, let's take them out", Ella said, reaching for a gun, but Nate moved it out of her reach
"No, you're staying out of this one", Nate replied
"I'm perfectly fine, honest", Ella argued
Oh really... how many fingers am I holding up", Nate asked, holding up two fingers
"...four", Ella said in confusion
"Nope", Nate said, as he continued shooting the goons, with the ship taking on a lot of water, the whole room was soon thrown on its side, sending the two into the water; Ella could feel herself floating down in the water; even underwater, the room was still spinning; not long after, Nate came into her vision as he grabbed her and resurfaced with Ella in his arms
"You ok", Nate asked
"Yeah, still gonna follow your lead though", Ella said
"Alright, grab hold", Nate said as Ella wrapped her arms around Nate as he began swimming towards the exit, as they got out of the water, Nate put Ella's arm over his shoulder and began moving forward
"...I'm sorry", Ella muttered
"There's nothing to be sorry about", Nate stated, "hey, about what happened back with Marlowe..."
"It's alright", Ella responded, the two dropping down into the staircase, only for water to begin emerging, sending the two into a run, later swimming out of the area and into a hallway
"You ok", Ella asked
"Fine, you", Nate asked back
"Still spinning, but ok", Ella replied, as a creaking sound was heard, alerting the two
"Run", Ella asked
"Run", Nate replied, grabbing Ella's hand and running away as water burst into the hallway, fortunately enough, the water went down another hallway
"We gotta do some climbing, you ready", Nate asked
"Yeah, I think so", Ella said, the two climbing up, through the rooms of the ship; Nate staying by Ella's side in case she needed help, climbing up, the two made it to the ships side, the whole ship was on its side, making the two move fast, and carefully; climbing into a glass elevator, the glass began to crack and shattered, sending the two down, luckily enough, grabbing the chandelier, climbing down, the bottom broke off, sending the two down to the ground, the chandelier's bottom missing them
"How 'bout that", Nate said
"You and your luck", Ella replied as Nate helped her up, the two going off towards the exit once again, this time, being stopped by a gun being shot at them, but missed them; turning around, there stood Ramses, pointing a gun at the two
"See you in hell, habibi", Ramses sneered, shooting at the glass ceiling, the glass cracked and shattered, Nate and Ella running once again, and jumping off the side of the boat and into the ocean below...
(The Next Day)
Nate and Ella soon woke up on a beach, back in Yemen, the sun was out, Nate shooed away a vulture as the two stood up
"You ok", Ella asked
"Tired, you", Nate asked
"Same, spinning's stopped though", Ella stated
"Fingers", Nate asked again, holding two fingers up
"Two", Ella replied
"Alright, come on", Nate said, the two slowly walking back to the hotel, as they arrived, the two opened the door, seeing Elena on the phone, she quickly turned her head, noticing the two
"Oh my god, I gotta go...", Elena said, hanging up the phone and running up to Nate and Ella
"Hey E", Ella replied
"I really thought you two were gone this time", Elena said
"Nah", Nate replied
"You ok", Elena asked
"Is Sully...", Nate began
"He's alive... but they got him", Elena replied
"Where", Ella asked
"They're in a convoy, headed into the desert", Elena explained
"We gotta go", Nate said
"No, it's not that simple, they have two days' head start on us, we'll never catch up", Elena stated
"We gotta try", Ella said
"I've got a plan, but we only have one shot at this", Elena explained, "they're loading up a cargo plane at the airport; they're gonna make a supply drop to the convoy",
"We gotta be on that plane", Nate stated as Elena nodded her head
"The plane isn't taking off until dawn; in the meantime, try to get a couple hours sleep, my contact will call if anything changes", Elena replied, walking out of the room
"What a day, huh", Ella asked
"Crazy day", Nate said
"Thanks Nate, for back there", Ella said, later falling asleep, Nate later falling asleep soon after
