Sarah sat beside Amelia for dinner. I'm front of Amelia was Rafe who kept looking at her all night.
"Okay so me Ward and Rose gathered you kids here because we have some news that will affect you and we wanna know what you think." Amelia's mom said
"You are pregnant with Ward and Rose discovered the affair so you guys are moving in with us and we will be one big happy family." Rafe said jokingly
"Close enough." Amelia's mom said "Amelia and I are moving in with you guys!"
Amelia choked on her food dropping her fork on her plate.
"I'm sorry we are doing what now?" Amelia tried to ask calmly
"We are going to renovate the house. I talked to your dad and he was tired of our home so he wanted to change it all." Amelia's mom exclaimed "Isn't this great?"
Amelia was in shock. All the kids were. Mouth's wide open in confusion.
"Huh mom can I talk to you in private." Amelia asked
"Anything you want to say you say it in front of everyone. Better get used to it." Her mom replied
"Fine. What the actual fuck?" Amelia continued
"Watch your language please." Rose asked
"Rose respectfully, shut up and stay out of this." Amelia hissed back "As I was saying: what the actual fuck mom? You couldn't bother to ask me what were my thoughts about this."
"Yes I just did." Her mom replied
"Cause you knew your decision was final and done and nothing I could say would change it." Amelia declared "And why are you even listening to dad he is literally never here. How in the hell could he be tired of it."
"Look at this on the bright side, you and Sarah will be like sisters." The mom said
"Am I the only person here who thinks this is seriously deranged?" Amelia asked incredulously "Couldn't we just live in a hotel?"
"Don't be ridiculous Amelia." Ward said softly "Might as well go live with the pogues"
As Amelia was about to say something back, Sarah covered her mouth knowing what she was gonna say.
"This is too funny." Rafe laughed
"Our decision is final." Amelia's mom explained "Me and Amelia are moving in this Saturday."
"THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW?!" Amelia yelled
"Where are your manners tonight Amelia?" Her mom said hinting at her to calm down
"Yeah Amelia, where are you manners? You're napkin is not on your legs." Rafe said grinning
"Rafe Cameron I swear to god I am going to mur—."
"SILENCE!" Ward yelled "The Peterson's are moving in in two days whether you like it or not. Now go upstairs I'm tired of hearing you guys complain all the time."
All the kids went to Amelia's room.
"Thank god they asked for our opinion." Amelia said sarcastically rolling her eyes
"Hey it's not that bad." Rafe said "It's not for a long time anyway."
He looked at Amelia with the biggest grin ever.
"Where even am I gonna sleep." Amelia sighed
"Probably one of the guest room unless you want to share a rom?" Sarah asked back
