The picture is pretty blurry again on the bottom but it's another great full circle moment from the first and last movie. Let's start off with what it shows us about Hiccup's personal development.
With Hiccup the movie starts and he's watching Astrid (while in awe) from the side. He's not involved at all his job is to help her however he can along with the rest of the fire crew soon to be dragon riders. In the last movie they're standing facing each other, and both of them just saved the other from their respective attackers. This shows the partnership between them and they're now equals. They balance each other out.
As for the Hiccstrid itself it seems symbolic to me that in the first movie he was watching her with LITERAL FIRE IN HIS EYES and now? He sparked this fire. He literally threw his sword into the zippleback gas hence starting the fire. Could that be him bringing his love for her into the open even in a battlefield of all places or have I just dug too deep into this now. Either way, it was yet another nice way to bring the movies full circle. AND HE STILL LOOKS AT HER WITH THE SAME LOVE ON HIS FACE my heart can't handle them.
