After I had been walking for a while, I stop at a tall building with lots of stories. I'm not sure what led me here, but I enter anyway. When I hop onto the elevator, I punch number 57. I turn left and walk to the end of the hallway until I'm in front of a tall white door with the silver number 13 on it. Just before I open the door, I pause. What am I doing here? I didn't have a destination in mind when I left the park, but yet somehow I ended up in this random building in front of this random apartment.

Hesitantly, I grab the door knob and slowly open the door. When I do, I see a small girl with short black hair and a boy with dark brown hair. They don't see me when I first walk in, however, because they are fully engaged in a make out session on the couch. A movie is playing on a huge television screen, but it's obvious that the couple hasn't been watching it. I step closer to them and cough slightly to make them aware of my presence. As soon as I do, the girl jumps off the couch with her fists in front of her face. Immediately after she realizes it's me, however, she lowers her arms and smiles.

"Tris! Tobias told me what happened, with your memory and all." She says with a happy yet slightly panicky voice. She's still probably embarrassed that I caught her making out with her boyfriend. "I wanted to stop by and visit as soon as I heard, but I had work. By the time I was free, I figured you'd be sleeping. I was just getting ready to see you right now, actually...but looks like you're all better now! I knew you would remember soon enough!"

"Umm," I start as my eyes glance over to the boy. I know that I recognize him, but can't seem to remember from where. He looks irritated with me. "I'm sorry, but I still don't have my memory back. Who are you?"

"Tris...It's me. Christina? Your best friend?"

"Oh. I'm sorry for interrupting you and Ben." Now I remember the boy's name.

"It's okay. Wait...how did you know his name but not mine?" Christina says, hurt washing over her.

"I'm not sure. I'm still trying to figure this whole thing out. I don't even know how I got here."

Christina looks at me with pity, which only infuriates me. She kicked me out of her apartment and now she's acting all nice, just because I can't remember anything. I stop when I realize that another random memory slipped into my thoughts. They seem to be happening more frequently now.

"I'm not sure, either." A deep voice says from behind me. I turn and see that it's Peter. His hand, which is covered in blood, clutches his nose.

Out of impulse, I rush to the doorway where he is standing and lightly touch his arm. I gently grab his hand and guide it away from his nose. Just from a first glance, I can already tell that it's broken. Thankfully, the bleeding has stopped. I stare at him for a few moments. He gives me a small half smile, but it's obvious that he's in pain. I know that I've been staring at him for too long, so I avert my eyes to my feet. As soon as I do, however, he touches my chin and softly lifts it up so that our eyes meet again.

"You should really get that checked out." I say with honest concern. "It's broken and will need to be bandaged. I'm...I'm sorry that he did that to you."

"I probably should go to a doctor but I like being with you much more." Peter replies, his typical coy smile plastered on his face. "Besides, what about you? You got hit pretty hard by him too."

I lightly touch my stomach. When I arrived at Christina's, I had forgotten about the pain. It still feels a little achy but not nearly as bad as it used to. I shrug and tell him not to worry about it.

"So...um what's going on here?" Christina asks. I forgot that Peter and I weren't alone. Awkwardly, I back away, distancing myself from him.

"Nothing for you to worry about," Peter responds before I have a chance to. "C'mon, babe, let's go to my place and take a look at your injury."
